Like a merchant in trade, one accomplishes all desires. Like a dyer bleaching clothes, one thoroughly accomplishes all actions. Like a father to a young son, one accomplishes non-harming of sentient beings. Like one seeking fire with a rubbing stick, one constantly and thoroughly accomplishes. Like trust, one accomplishes the exceeding mind that is not complete. Like a magician, one accomplishes knowledge with wisdom. That is the Bodhisattva, how and where does he wish to accomplish? How and where he accomplishes, that will be shown. How, like good medicine to the sick. Where, like in samsara. Because one relies on samsara after individually examining, because with compassion one does not abandon sentient beings afflicted by the disease of afflictions, because one well tames one's own mind, because one increases enjoyment in order with generosity and other perfections, because one completely purifies the actions of body and so on, because one is not disturbed by those who harm sentient beings, because one strives without interruption in meditating on virtuous Dharma, because one does not taste the flavor of samadhi, because one is not mistaken about what is to be known. Verses on the complete purification of the three wheels of accomplishment: Thus, always possessing great diligence, diligently striving to fully ripen the two, gradually with stainless, non-conceptual, supreme wisdom, accomplishment goes supremely without equal. Because of the non-conceptual wisdom of selflessness in Dharma, one does not conceptualize the accomplisher, what is to be accomplished, and the accomplishment, therefore one should know the three wheels are completely pure. "Diligently striving to fully ripen the two" refers to sentient beings and oneself. The chapter on accomplishment is complete.

Having accumulated provisions, the Bodhisattva is pure from the beginning, Knowing well and with a virtuous mind, He applies himself diligently to meditation. Pure from the beginning means that he has fully trained in the Bodhisattva's vows, and because he has made a straight view of the Great Vehicle through the gate of holding the meaning without reversing it. Knowing well means because of much hearing. A virtuous mind means because it is free from obscurations. At that time, in the stream of Dharma, From the Buddhas, peace and A cause of vast wisdom to be obtained, A vast instruction will be found. The meaning of this verse is easy to understand. Then, first, the one who strives for discipline, The Dharma of the Sutra section and so on, The meaning of the two is distinguished, The mind is placed on the name of the Sutra and so on. Then, gradually, He skillfully distinguishes the sentences, In each one, properly, He also distinguishes its meaning. Having grasped those meanings, He completely holds all the Dharma, In order to obtain that meaning, Then he earnestly wishes for it. First, for the Dharma of the Sutra section and the chanted section and so on, for the name of the Sutra and so on, such as the name Tenth Ground and so on, whatever is like that, he focuses his mind on that. These three verses show six minds: the root mind, the following mind, the discriminating mind, the holding mind, the total holding mind, and the wishing mind. Among them, the root mind is the one that focuses on the names of the Dharmas of the Sutra section and so on. The following mind is the one that follows the skillful distinction of the sentences of the objects through the gate of the names of the Sutra section and so on. The discriminating mind is the one that discriminates the meaning and the letters. Among them, the meaning is discriminated by four aspects: counting, measuring, inferring, and individually inferring. Among them, counting is holding the number, for example, form is ten sources and one part of one source, feeling is a collection of six feelings, and so on. Measuring is holding the nature of the Dharma with number without increasing or decreasing, but matching it. Inferring is measuring.

It is called discrimination. Individual discrimination means observing the meaning of counting, measuring, and investigating. Letters are used in two ways: groups of letters themselves have meaning, while individual letters themselves have no meaning. The mind of definite grasping is to ascertain the reason for how it is analyzed or elaborated. The mind of summarizing is to gather the meaning of how it is analyzed in detail into the root mind, thereby producing a state of complete summarization. The mind of aspiration refers to the meaning of samadhi, or the meaning of perfect accomplishment, or the meaning of the fruit of asceticism, or the meaning of entering the ground, or the meaning of superior conduct. Whatever purpose one strives for, it arises together with desire. Only the mind appears as the object, and there is no object other than the mind. It is okay to understand it as mind-only, or not to understand it. The object is the mind, because it is not other, so the six kinds of minds are established as objects. With the speech of the mind, continuously, individually examine the object to be sought. The mental activity is unspoken, and even with the same taste, it can be analyzed. The name of the Dharma is also included here, and the path is known from destruction. The path of insight is those things, know that it is detailed analysis. The path of union is, to clearly recognize that it is summarization. Gather the timid mind, and also pacify the agitated mind. Then, if one becomes equal to that object, abide in equanimity. One should always practice this, and cultivate it with reverence. These four verses show eleven mental activities: with investigation and analysis, without investigation but only analysis, without investigation and without analysis, abiding mental activity, insight mental activity, union mental activity, the cause of grasping mental activity, the cause of abiding mental activity, the cause of equanimity mental activity, constant practice mental activity, reverent conduct mental activity. Focus the mind on the object, do not let it be continuously distracted. Once distraction is quickly noticed, then
