What is the non-conforming conceptualization with wisdom? It is not true. What is not true is the conformity with it, which is the intermediate state that conforms to the decisive part. Non-conceptualization is Suchness and transcendent wisdom. Neither conceptual nor non-conceptual is the worldly wisdom obtained after transcendence, and all knowable things are limited to this. Regarding the complete search for all afflictions and complete purification, there are two verses: From one's own realm, duality appears, Ignorance and affliction arise simultaneously, The entering conceptualization arises naturally, The two substances are completely abandoned. From one's own realm means from one's own seed, the alaya consciousness. Appearing as duality means appearing as the apprehended and the apprehender. Ignorance and affliction arise simultaneously means that because these arise together with ignorance and afflictions, these are what arise together with ignorance and afflictions. Abandoning the two substances refers to the substance of the apprehended and the substance of the apprehender. Thus, one should completely search for afflictions. Having obtained the distinction of the object, Because of dwelling in one's own essence, That itself enters without dualistic appearance, Like skin and an arrow. Having obtained the distinction of the object means having obtained and being the object of the Dharma, which has been said before. Because of dwelling in one's own essence, one's own essence is the Suchness of conceptualizations. Dwelling in it is because the mind dwells on names. Having means the path of cultivation through familiarity. The completely transformed conceptualization itself enters without dualistic appearance, like skin and an arrow. Just as the skin becomes soft by being free from fullness, and the arrow becomes straight by being heated by fire, so if one obtains the liberation of mind and wisdom through the practice of shamatha and vipassana, then the conceptualizations that have transformed their state will no longer appear as duality. Thus, one should completely search for complete purification. The mere appearance of consciousness is completely determined.

There are two verses on separation: The mind appears as dualistic, Similarly, it appears as attachment, Or it is desired to appear as faith, etc. Afflictions and virtuous dharmas do not exist. The Mind-Only proponents believe that this mind appears as the apprehended, appears as the apprehender, and appears as dualistic. Similarly, it appears as afflictions such as desire, or it is desired to appear as virtuous dharmas such as faith. Other than those appearances, the characteristics of completely afflicted dharmas such as desire, or the characteristics of virtuous dharmas such as faith, do not exist. For example, just as there is no characteristic of duality other than the appearance of duality. The mind appears as various things, Enters into various forms, In it, appearance is existence and non-existence, Therefore, it is not the nature of dharma. This very mind appears as the desire of fame, or appears as hatred, or appears as other dharmas, appears as various things, and various forms such as faith and diligence, enters into various forms. Whether the mind in the state of affliction and virtue appears as existent or non-existent is not the nature of affliction and virtuous dharmas, because other than that appearance, there is no characteristic of it. There are eight verses on completely seeking the characteristics, one has shown, the rest are explained. The Buddhas, for the benefit of sentient beings, truly explain the basis, nature, representation, and various distinctions. This has been shown. What is mind with view, and its unchanging state, this is the brief basis, if distinguished widely, it is immeasurable. Among them, mind is consciousness and form. View is the dharmas arising from the mind. Its state is the dharmas that are not associated with the mind. The unchanging is unconditioned dharmas such as space, because the consciousness of that and that always acts in that way. Thus, the basis is briefly the five forms. If distinguished widely, it is immeasurable. How to know the meaning of what is said, and the cause and habit of it, and the meaning appearing from it, is the nature of complete imputation. If the nature is briefly summarized, there are three types, complete imputation.
