It shows that refuge itself is refuge by the meaning of saving. All harms and, evil destinies and non-means, destructible aggregates and inferior vehicles, therefore, it is the supreme refuge. Secondly, this (verse) extensively shows the reason for completely saving from harms and so on. Among them, completely saving from all harms is because by the power of the Buddha, the blind obtain eyes, the deaf obtain ears, those with disturbed minds obtain their own minds, those with infectious diseases are pacified, and so on. Completely saving from evil destinies is because the light of the Buddha liberates those who have gone there, and establishes them in not going there. Completely saving from non-means is because it arises from the views of non-Buddhists. Completely saving from destructible aggregates is because the two vehicles completely return from nirvana. Completely saving from inferior vehicles is because it makes those of uncertain lineage enter the single great vehicle path. The Buddha himself is refuge, considered unparalleled and supreme, various fearful transformations of destructible aggregates, everything and vehicles, numerous evil destiny sufferings, those who have gone to non-means, protect from birth and death and afflictions, all evil destinies. Thirdly, this (verse) shows by what cause refuge itself is unparalleled and supreme, by its meaning it shows its meaning. What is the body of the Buddha that is extremely complete with Dharma? What is the wisdom in the holy Dharma that skillfully subdues sentient beings? What is the great compassion for all beings that has reached the other shore? The Buddha himself is considered the supreme refuge here. Fourthly, this (verse) shows by what causes refuge is so unsurpassed, in terms of the ultimate benefit for oneself, because of the nature of the Buddha's Dharma, power, fearlessness, and so on, which are extremely complete. In terms of the ultimate benefit for others, because in the holy Dharma, he knows the means of subduing sentient beings, and because he has reached the other shore with great compassion. As long as the world exists, sentient beings', all harm and perfection, in order to avert and accomplish, Buddha refuge.

It is considered as the earth. The fifth verse briefly explains for how long, how many beings are the refuge for whose benefit. For whose benefit means to avert all harm and to achieve all perfections. Regarding the completely transformed place, there is the sixth verse: Whose afflictions, the seeds of the obscurations of knowledge, are long-lasting and constant, The abandonment is extremely vast, completely destroyed in every way, The transformed place, obtaining the most excellent qualities of white Dharma, is the Buddha himself. That is obtained through the path of non-conceptual, supremely pure, extremely vast wisdom. This explains that the place is completely transformed by being separated from the seeds of unfavorable factors and possessing excellent antidotes, and also explains how to obtain it by obtaining two paths: by obtaining the path of wisdom that transcends the world and is extremely pure, and its essence, by obtaining the path of wisdom that has the realm of infinite knowable objects as its object. Long-lasting means from beginningless time. Extremely vast abandonment in every way means in every way of the earth. The Tathagata dwells there, Like the king of mountains standing tall, he looks upon beings. If he has compassion even for beings who appear to delight in peace, What need to mention other beings who appear to delight in existence? The second verse shows the difference between the completely transformed place and others, dwelling there, like dwelling on a high mountain king, looking at the extremely inferior world. After looking, he has compassion even for the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, what need to mention those who are worse than them? Entering and excelling in the place, not entering, Returning and completely entering, both and neither, Equality and superiority, the nature of all-going, are considered the complete transformation of the Tathagatas. The third verse shows the difference in its benefits, the place means to truly show the completely transformed place. The complete transformation of the Tathagatas, because they enter for the benefit of others, is entering. Because it excels in all Dharmas, excellent entering is supreme entering. Because it does not enter the cause of all afflictions, it is not entering.
