Those who are in suffering, those who have fallen into evil destinies, are made to go to the heavens. The immeasurable palaces of the demons are tall and beautiful, causing all the demons to move around and be frightened. The work of the rays shows two kinds of action: first, it causes those who have fallen into evil destinies to be born in the heavens; second, it causes the demons and their retinues to be displeased and run away. From the work of various plays and the work of incarnation, verses are made: He abides in samadhi in the supreme assembly, showing all immeasurable plays, and with the incarnations of karma, birth, and supreme, he abides at all times for the benefit of sentient beings. In the mandala of the Buddha's retinue, because of immeasurable samadhi, he shows all kinds of plays, and because of the three kinds of incarnations, he constantly benefits sentient beings. The three kinds of incarnations are: the incarnation of skillful work, the incarnation of birth that arises as desired by the power of taming, and the supreme incarnation such as residing in the Tushita heaven. From the work of purifying the fields, verses are made: Because of the power over pure wisdom, the fields are purified in order to show them as desired. In places where the name of the Buddha is not heard, by truly proclaiming the name of the Buddha, they cause other realms to rejoice. It is done by two kinds of purification: by purifying the vessel, because of having power over wisdom, as desired, the Buddha's field can be shown in the nature of crystal and vaidurya, etc. By purifying sentient beings, in the worlds where the name of the Buddha is not heard, to the sentient beings born there, by truly proclaiming the name of the Buddha, they are made to take faith, and they are made to be born in the worlds that are inseparable from it. From the meaning of having, verses are made: Just as the wings of a bird all grow, the ability to ripen sentient beings, from the work of the Buddha, obtains extreme praise, and becomes a word that can be received by all beings. It shows three kinds of having, that is, having the ability to fully ripen sentient beings, having the ink of praise, and having the word that can be received. From the meaning of entering, verses are made:

Having six supernormal knowledges and three kinds of knowledge, eight liberations and likewise eight victories, ten totalities and samadhi, obtaining immeasurable steadfast power. The power of a Bodhisattva enters through six classifications: supernormal knowledges, knowledge, liberation, the spheres of victory, the spheres of totality, and the immeasurable classifications of samadhi. Thus, having explained the power with the meaning of the characteristics of six classifications, in order to express its greatness, a verse is made: That one possesses the mind that has obtained the supreme power, constantly arranges beings without power to have self-power, singularly manifests joy in benefiting others, and acts in the world as steadfast as a lion. Showing the three aspects of the nature of greatness: Because one has obtained power over the supreme of self-wisdom, one overcomes beings who do not have self-power due to afflictions, hence the greatness of power; constantly and singularly manifesting joy in benefiting others, hence the greatness of manifesting joy; not fearing existence, hence the greatness of not fearing. The chapter on power is complete. A verse summarizing the complete maturation of a Bodhisattva: Joy and faith and extreme peace, compassion and patience and gentleness, possessing power and not being robbed, possessing limbs excellently, these are the signs of a Son of the Conquerors' complete maturation. Joy is for the Dharma that explains the Great Vehicle. Faith is for the one who teaches it. Extreme peace is for the afflictions. Compassion is for sentient beings. Patience is for practicing joy. Gentleness is for taking, holding, and harboring grudges, etc. Possessing power is for realization. Not being robbed is by demons and external adversaries. Possessing limbs is possessing the limbs of abandonment. The meaning of "excellent" is to show the greatness of joy, etc. In short, these nine aspects should be known as the complete maturation of oneself by the Bodhisattvas. Starting from the complete maturation of joy, a verse is made: Excellent friend and the three others, and extreme diligence, perfection, and gathering the supreme Dharma, for the sake of upholding the true Dharma.
