That is what is said. For all other vast grounds, one should meditate on the grounds, and both accomplishments are inconceivable. Like this, these are to be known individually by the Bodhisattvas themselves, and are the realm of the Buddhas, not of others. Starting from the differentiation of the signs of entering the ground, there are two verses: With appearance and faith, without timidity and without regression, not relying on others is self-nature, and completely understanding everything, with equal mind towards all, without being led astray and without attachment, skillful means and wisdom arising in the cycle of existence, are considered as signs for all. These ten aspects are to be known as the signs of a Bodhisattva entering the ground on all grounds. Whichever ground one enters, there is appearance for that ground, and whichever ground one enters, there is faith for that ground, this is the first sign. Without timidity is towards the profound and vast Dharma. Without regression is towards the difficult practices. Not relying on others is towards one's own ground. Completely understanding everything is because one is skilled in actualizing those. Having an equal mind towards all is having an equal mind towards all sentient beings and oneself. Not being led astray is by pleasant and unpleasant sounds. Without attachment is towards the perfections such as being a universal monarch. Being skilled in means is because one knows the means of becoming a Buddha without attachment. Arising is constantly arising in the mandalas of the Buddhas, these are other signs of a Bodhisattva on the grounds. Two verses differentiating the signs of attaining the other shore: Without desire, without attachment and hatred, without anger, without laziness. Without thoughts that are not love and compassion, wisdom is not stolen by evil thoughts. Wisdom is not distracted, not stolen by happiness, not harmed by suffering. Closely relying on virtuous friends, striving to listen, diligently making offerings to the teacher. Whoever knows the supreme means, truly accumulates merit, all that is extremely vast, after sharing with others, completely dedicating the perfect Bodhi as if it were a single day, being born in a good place, always doing good.

Now, sporting with the qualities of clairvoyance and virtue. Know that the sons of the Buddhas are supreme to all beings and are a treasure of virtue. The bodhisattva shows sixteen signs of having attained the ten perfections. The sixteen signs are: constantly inseparable from the seventh of practicing the perfections; being separated from the opposing aspects of each of the six perfections; with the sign of skillful means perfection, not being distracted in mind by practicing contemplation on other vehicles; not being attached to perfect bliss; not turning away from the affliction of practicing adversity and hardship; relying on virtuous friends and diligently listening; making offerings to the teacher the main thing; dedicating all virtues to unsurpassed enlightenment; with the perfection of aspiration, being born in a good place in order to be born in the place of Buddhas and bodhisattvas; with the perfection of strength, constantly doing good because of not mixing with the Dharma of the opposing aspect of that strength; and with the perfection of wisdom, sporting with the qualities of knowledge of manifest knowledge. Therein, loving-kindness is: the antidote to harmful thoughts, it is the intention with the aspect of accomplishing happiness. Compassion is: the antidote to harm, it is the intention of being separated from suffering. Conception is to conceive of the essence itself. Discrimination is to discriminate the differences, it should be known. A verse differentiating the benefits of that: In all places, at all times, the benefits of the wise, on both calm abiding and insight, are considered to be of five natures. In all places, the bodhisattvas who have attained the perfections, all aspects of the benefits of that should be known as five aspects: in each moment, all the bases of the aggregates of suffering will be exhausted. One will attain joy upon joy in the joy of the Dharma that is separated from various perceptions. In all places, the appearance of limitless Dharma, without any interruption of appearance, will also be truly known again and again. Corresponding to the share of this purity, Reasons
