The fourth dhyana is accompanied by immeasurable compassion, the rest are merely narrow. The four verses that distinguish the establishments are: By the distinctions of the Sutra Pitaka etc., the place of intelligence is established, upon investigation of all the grounds, know that it is the establishment of all dharmas. Thus, the suchness relies on the seven aspects to establish the truths. The establishments of reason and vehicles are fourfold and threefold. Appropriate attention and, correct view with fruit and, discriminating the inconceivable with valid cognition, know that these are the four kinds of reasoning. Intention and speech, application and pure assembly, by the various distinctions of accomplishment, it is considered that there are three vehicles. Dharma and, truth and, reason and, vehicle, by the distinction of the establishment of the establishments, there are four kinds of establishments. Among them, by the distinctions of the Sutra Pitaka and the Song Pitaka etc., the establishment of the place of intelligence is to be known as the establishment of the Dharma. The other places of intelligence are all included within it, and are explained to the Bodhisattvas in the Mahayana. Thus, the seven suchnesses, namely the suchness of entering, the suchness of nature, the suchness of complete awareness, the suchness of abiding, the suchness of separate accomplishment, the suchness of complete purity, and the suchness of true accomplishment, rely on these to establish the truths. There are four kinds of reasoning for establishing reason, namely relative reasoning, functional reasoning, establishing reasoning, and the reasoning of the nature of things. There are three kinds of vehicles that are established, namely the Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, and the Great Vehicle. Among them, relative reasoning refers to appropriate attention in all three vehicles, relying on it, the correct view that transcends the world arises from that condition. Functional reasoning refers to the correct view with fruit. Establishing reasoning refers to complete understanding through valid cognition such as direct perception. The reasoning of the nature of things is an inconceivable place.

, because the nature of reality is established, why would properly attending to it initially transform into correct views? Or, from that, one would abandon the results of afflictions, etc. Such thoughts are not appropriate. Establishing the three vehicles should be understood through five aspects: thought, speech, combination, accumulation, and initial accomplishment. Thought, speech, combination, accumulation, and genuine accomplishment that are inferior are the Hearer Vehicle. Those that are intermediate are the Solitary Realizer Vehicle. Those that are superior are the **Great Vehicle**, where the Dharma is taught according to one's thoughts and desires. As the Dharma is taught, one combines with it. As one combines, one accumulates merit. As one accumulates merit, one genuinely accomplishes enlightenment. Verses on the classification of thorough searching: Name and things, mutually, searching is inherently temporary. Here, the establishment of these two is sought only within this. Thorough searching for all phenomena is of four types: searching for name, searching for things, searching for the establishment of self-nature, and searching for the establishment of distinctions. Among these, searching for name as temporary in relation to things should be understood as searching for name. Searching for things as temporary in relation to name should be understood as searching for things. In relation to the connection between the two, searching is merely the establishment of self-nature and distinctions; this should be understood as searching for the establishment of self-nature and distinctions. There are eight verses on the classification of knowing things as they truly are: Because all are without objects of focus, true wisdom is of four types, firm in all grounds, it will accomplish all meanings and benefits. Knowing all phenomena as they truly are is of four types: possessing the search for name, possessing the search for things, possessing the search for the establishment of self-nature and distinctions. And it should be known that all these names, etc., are understood from being without objects of focus. The following half is thorough knowledge as it truly is, and is the nature of greatness and
