It should be understood by relying on the eight irreversibles. What are the eight meanings? Purity, attainment, liberation, self and other's benefit, that which relies on them, profundity and vastness, and also the great self, until the end of time and suchness. This verse shows these eight meanings in order as they are. Namely: the meaning of essence, the meaning of cause, the meaning of result, the meaning of action, the meaning of possession, the meaning of entering, the meaning of permanence, and the meaning of inconceivability. Among them, whatever realm has not been liberated from the prison of afflictions, that which is called the Tathagatagarbha, to know that complete purity is the nature of perfect reality. Because, the Blessed One, however many billions of afflictions cover the womb, those who have no doubt about the Tathagatagarbha are liberated from the womb of all afflictions, and those who have no doubt about the Dharmakaya of the Tathagata, it is said. There are two kinds of wisdom: the transcendental non-conceptual and the mundane obtained after that. The cause of perfect reality, which is worldly and transcendental wisdom, is indicated by the word "obtained", because it is obtained by this, it is obtained. Its result is twofold: freedom from the obscuration of afflictions and the twofold freedom from the obscuration of knowledge. In order, accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others is action. Having its basis is having. The three bodies of the Buddhas, distinguished by profundity, vastness, and great self, enter in an inconceivable way as long as beings exist is entering. Summary: Essence, cause and result, action and possession, and entering, that is permanent, by the inconceivable, the Buddha's ground abides. Among them, the verse begins with the meaning of essence and the meaning of cause, which are the Buddha himself and the means to attain him: Whatever is called self-luminous nature, like the sun in the sky, is suddenly obscured by dense clouds of afflictions and knowledge. The stainless Buddha, endowed with all qualities, is the eternal and steadfast Yungdrung Buddha himself.

It is obtained by relying on non-discrimination and discriminating wisdom. The meaning of this verse, in short, can be understood by four verses: The Buddha himself is non-dual, well distinguished by the pure Dharma, like the sun and the sky, it is the characteristic of both wisdom and abandonment. Light and non-light are indistinguishable, tangible things are like the sands of the Ganges, the Buddha who transcends dust, is endowed with all virtues. Self-nature is not established, as well as pervasiveness and suddenness, the two obscurations of affliction and knowledge are said to be like clouds. The cause of being free from the two obscurations is the two wisdoms, non-discrimination and its subsequent attainment, that is what is called wisdom. Complete purification is the nature of the completely transformed place. As it is said, purification by type, in short, there are two types: self-nature purification and immaculate purification. Among them, self-nature purification is: anything that is not from liberation and separation, because the nature of the mind is luminous, and it is not separated from sudden defilements. Immaculate purification is: like dust and other things are like water and other things, from liberation and separation, because the nature of the mind is luminous, and it is separated from all sudden defilements. Among them, from the meaning of the fruit of immaculate purification, the verses are made: like an immaculate lake full of water, gradually growing lotuses covering it, and like the new moon freed from the mouth of Rahu, and like the sun freed from the clouds of afflictions, because it possesses immaculate qualities, it is the one with radiance and light. Like a lion, the essence of honey, and like jewels, gold, treasures and trees, the immaculate jewel Tathagata body, and like the lord of the earth, the golden body of the Victorious One. The meaning of these two verses, in short, can be understood by eight verses: like water lakes, etc., greed, etc., the purification of sudden afflictions, in short, is the fruit of non-discriminating wisdom, which is well proclaimed. The Buddha body with all the supreme aspects is definitely obtained, which is obtained from the subsequent attainment.
