It is said, "There is no, that is indivisible." Thus it is said. Thus it is said: "In all there is no difference, but arising from suchness, therefore, the Tathagata, for that reason, all beings have that essence." Thus it is said. Like a treasure and a fruit tree, those two lineages should be known, the beginningless self-nature abiding and, the perfect acceptance, the most excellent nature. From these two lineages, one wishes to attain the three bodies of the Buddha. The first is the first body, the second is the latter two bodies. The beautiful one of the self-nature body, should be known like a precious image, because the self-nature is not made, and the qualities are a precious treasure, possessing the great Dharma kingship, like the perfect enjoyment wheel-turning king. Because of the nature of the image, the emanation is like a golden image. Therefore, like that, the treasure and the tree, and the precious image, the wheel-turning king and the golden image, these remaining five metaphors, are spoken of as having the lineage of generating the three bodies of the Buddha. The Tathagatagarbha has been shown as the heart essence of all sentient beings. The Tathagata is distinguished by the three bodies of the Buddha, therefore, the Tathagatagarbha is the cause of attainment, so the meaning of garbha is the cause here. Because there are also sentient beings, and sentient beings also have the heart essence of accomplishing the Tathagatagarbha, however, those sentient beings do not know, thus it is said. Thus it is said: "The realm of beginningless time, is the place of all dharmas, because of its existence, all beings, and also nirvana are attained." Thus it is said. Among them, how is it the beginningless time? In terms of the Tathagatagarbha itself, it shows and establishes that one does not observe the previous limit. The so-called "realm" is said thus: "Bhagavan, what is the Tathagatagarbha? This is the heart essence of the Dharma that transcends the world, the heart essence of the Dharma that is completely pure by nature." The so-called "is the place of all dharmas" is said thus: "Bhagavan, for this reason, thus."

The essence of the Thus-gone One is related, without distinction, inseparable, and is the place, basis, and support of the unconditioned dharmas. Blessed One, the essence of the Thus-gone One is unrelated, with distinctions, separable, and is also the basis, place, and support of the conditioned dharmas. Thus it is said. 'If there is this, then all beings.' means: As it is said, Blessed One, if there is the essence of the Thus-gone One, then it is called samsara. 'Nirvana will also be attained.' means: As it is said, Blessed One, if there is no essence of the Thus-gone One, then there will be no aversion to suffering, nor desire for nirvana, no seeking, no aspiration, it is extensively said. Like the Dharmakaya, vast, inseparable from the Thus-gone One, the nature of the definitive lineage, the essence of the Thus-gone One, is also present in all times, without distinction to all, until here. One should observe by taking the nature of dharma as the standard, as it is said: Son of lineage, this is the nature of dharma of all dharmas, whether the Thus-gone Ones appear or not, these sentient beings always possess the essence of the Thus-gone One. Thus it is said. Whatever is the nature of dharma, that is the reason, combination, and means by which it becomes only such here, and does not become otherwise. To realize the mind in all ways, and to truly know the mind, is the realization of the nature of dharma and the reason of the nature of dharma, it should not be thought about, it should not be distinguished, but only increased faith should be done. The ultimate truth of the self-born ones, should be realized from the beginning. The sun's disc blazing with light, cannot be seen by the eyeless. In short, these four individuals are established as not having the eye to see the essence of the Thus-gone One. What are the four? Namely: ordinary beings, hearers, solitary realizers, and bodhisattvas newly entering the Great Vehicle. As it is said, Blessed One, these four.

As it is said, the essence of the Tathāgatagarbha is not the domain of those who are fallen into the view of the aggregate, those who are manifestly attached to inverted views, and those whose minds are distracted from emptiness. Among them, those who are fallen into the view of the aggregate refer to ordinary people. Because they always cling to the aggregates and other contaminated dharmas as self and belonging to self, and are manifestly attached to the ego and the sense of "mine," they cannot particularly cherish the uncontaminated realm where the view of the aggregate ceases. Therefore, their understanding of the Tathāgatagarbha, the realm of the all-knowing, is inverted, and they think it is impossible. Those who are manifestly delighted in inverted views refer to Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Why? Because they should cultivate the Tathāgatagarbha as permanent, but instead they prefer to cultivate the thought of impermanence rather than permanence; they should cultivate the Tathāgatagarbha as bliss, but instead they prefer to cultivate the thought of suffering rather than bliss; they should cultivate the Tathāgatagarbha as self, but instead they prefer to cultivate the thought of no-self rather than self; they should cultivate the Tathāgatagarbha as pure, but instead they prefer to cultivate the thought of impurity rather than purity. Therefore, in this way, it is explained that for those who are deluded on the path that contradicts the attainment of the Dharmakāya, the realm of the ultimate nature of permanence, bliss, self, and purity is not the domain of all Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Therefore, it is not the domain of those who are attached to inverted views, that is, those who have the thought of impermanence, suffering, no-self, and impurity. Thus, it is extensively explained in the Mahāparinirvāṇa Sūtra, where the Blessed One skillfully elaborated on the analogy of the jewel in the pond water, for example, monks,
