That is without cause, without condition, without assembly, without birth, without cessation. For that, like the space element, is the nature. Like the wind element, is inappropriate attention. Like the water element, are actions and afflictions. Like the earth element, are aggregates, sources, and elements. Therefore, all dharmas are completely severed from the root, having a root without essence, having a root that does not abide, having a root of purity, having a root without a root, so it is said. In the impure state, starting from the characteristic of immutability, nature is the same as space and dharma, and relying on it, inappropriate attention, and actions and afflictions, etc., starting from the characteristic of cause, are the same as the wind element and dharma, the same as the water element and dharma, and the aggregates, elements, and sources arising from that, starting from the characteristic of ripening, are the same as the earth element and dharma, which has already been said. That is the death of the cause of destruction, and the nature of the fire disease of disease and old age, starting from the fire element and dharma, because it has not been said, so say that. Ordinary hell at the end of time, Three fires, death, disease, and, The three fires of old age, in sequence, Should be known as like those. Death, disease, and old age, etc., should be understood in order as like fire by three causes, in order to make the six sources selfless, in order to experience various sufferings, and in order to make actions fully ripen. Even in the impure state of the Tathagatagarbha, starting from the immutability of these three fires of death, disease, and old age, it is said: World Honored One, what is called death, what is called birth, this is worldly parlance. World Honored One, what is called death, this is the cessation of the senses. World Honored One, what is called birth, this is the acquisition of new senses. World Honored One, the Tathagatagarbha is not birth, nor death, nor birth. What is the reason for that? World Honored One, the Tathagatagarbha is beyond the realm of the nature of conditioned phenomena.

In the state of impurity and purity, verses are composed based on immutability: Liberated from birth, aging, sickness, and death, Realizing the nature of this as it is, Although free from the suffering of birth, etc., For the sake of compassionate beings with wisdom, rely on this. What does this indicate? The noble ones abandon death and sickness, And completely eliminate the suffering of old age. They are born due to the power of karma and afflictions. If that is not there, then that is not there later. In the state of impurity, the proximate cause, like fuel for the fire of death, sickness, and old age, is improper attention and birth preceded by karma and afflictions. In the state of impurity and purity, for the Bodhisattvas who have attained the mind-made body, when one thing becomes extremely non-manifest, it is realized that the other will never ignite. For the sake of seeing reality as it is, Even though they have transcended birth and so on, Out of compassion, They show birth, aging, sickness, and death. Bodhisattvas are those who are always connected to the roots of virtue. Relying on the power to be born at will, they skillfully connect with the three realms through compassion. They also show birth, and they also show aging, sickness, and death. However, these phenomena of birth and so on do not exist, because that realm itself is without birth and without arising, as they see it as it is. This state of Bodhisattva should be known extensively as it is in the sutras, as it is said: What are the causes of their samsara, the afflictions that are in accordance with the roots of virtue? Like this, they are not satisfied with seeking the accumulation of merit, and they take up birth in existence at will, and they strive to meet the Buddhas, and they are not weary of maturing sentient beings, and they are diligent in upholding the sacred Dharma, and they are diligent in whatever activities there are for sentient beings, and they do not separate from the intention of attachment to the Dharma, and they do not abandon the constant practice of the perfections. What ocean of wisdom connects the Bodhisattva constantly?
