That which causes the world to be destroyed. Even with the arising of the assembly of the fire of death, sickness, and old age, it should be known that it will not be destroyed. Thus, in the state of impurity, like the vessel world, all the defilements of affliction, karma, and birth arise and perish, but the unconditioned Tathagatagarbha, like the sky, is without birth and without cessation, and is taught as the nature of reality that is extremely unchanging. Beginning with the door of the appearance of phenomena from the door of the naturally pure, the example of the sky should be understood in detail as it is in the sutra. Great sage, affliction is darkness, purity is light. Affliction is weak, higher vision is powerful. Affliction is sudden, naturally pure is fundamental. Affliction is completely conceptualized, nature is not completely conceptualized. Great sage, for example, this great earth is completely established on water, water is completely established on wind, wind is completely established on sky, and sky is without establishment. Similarly, among these four elements, the earth element, the water element, and the wind element make the sky element itself powerful, stable, unmoving, undiminishing, unborn, unceasing, abiding in its own being. Among them, whichever three elements are those that have birth and destruction, are impermanent, and do not abide for long, in these one sees change, but in the sky there is no change at all. Similarly, The aggregates, elements, and sense bases are completely established on karma and afflictions. Karma and afflictions are completely established on improper attention, and improper attention is established on naturally completely pure. Therefore, it is said that the nature of mind is luminous, and is not defiled by sudden afflictions. Among them, what is improper attention, what is karma and affliction, what are the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, all these phenomena arise from the collection of causes and conditions, and if separated from causes and conditions, they will cease. What is the nature
