Because of its nature. The meaning of the two-in-one Dharma nature is peace. Because of the uncreated qualities, the meaning of imperishability is eternity. Why is that? It is the Dharmakaya, it is the Tathagata. It is the truth of the noble ones, the ultimate Nirvana. Therefore, like the sun and its rays, the qualities are inseparable. There is no Nirvana except for the Buddha himself. In short, in the realm of the uncontaminated, with four distinctions of meaning. The four categories of Dharmakaya and so on should be known. Buddha and Dharma are inseparable, that nature is thus attained, the Dharma nature is without deceit or deception, and from the beginning, the nature is peaceful. Complete and perfect enlightenment in all aspects, abandoning all defilements and habitual tendencies. The Nirvana of the Buddha is the non-duality of the sacred meaning. All aspects are countless, inconceivable, stainless qualities, inseparable characteristics are liberation, and that liberation is the Tathagata. How does one draw a picture? Those who are skilled in one thing or another. If someone knows a certain limb, they will not know the other for sure. Then, all of you, make an image of me, he said. The sovereign king gave them cloth with a decree. Having heard from each of them, they diligently applied themselves to the work of painting. Among those who were diligently applying themselves, one by one went to another place. Because they went to another place, the painting was incomplete. It is known as an example that all the limbs are not complete. What are those who draw? Giving, discipline, patience, and so on. Emptiness, which possesses the best of all kinds, is said to be the image. Wisdom, knowledge, and liberation are for clarity, radiance, and purity, and because they are not different, light and rays. Like the sun's orb. Therefore, Nirvana is not attained until Buddhahood is attained. Just as one cannot see the sun after abandoning light and rays. Thus, the essence of the Victorious One is said to be established in ten ways. Those who dwell in the husk of afflictions should be known by examples. Buddhahood and honey in bees, essence in chaff, gold in impurity, treasures in the earth and small fruits such as bamboo, the image of the Victorious One in rags, and a ruler in the womb of a wicked woman.

And like the earth having the form of jewels, So it is with sentient beings, this realm is obscured by sudden afflictive defilements. Defilements are like lotuses, beings, husks, impure things, tattered clothes, etc., Women tormented by the burning of suffering are the same as the earth realm. Buddhas are like honey, essence, gold, treasures, banyan trees, precious bodies, The same as the lord of Jambudvipa, the form of jewels, and the supreme realm without defilements. Just as it dwells in the womb of an ugly lotus, The Tathagata who blazes with a thousand names, Seeing with the immaculate divine eye, Like taking it out from the lotus petals. Likewise, the Sugatas in the places of uninterruptedness, etc., Seeing their own Dharma nature with the Buddha's eye, The compassion abiding at the unobstructed and limitless end, Liberates us from defilements. Like an unpleasant lotus closing, the Sugata goes in bliss, Like seeing the divine eye dwelling within it and cutting its petals. The essence of complete Buddhahood obscured by defilements such as attachment and hatred, seeing beings, With compassion, the Able One thus destroys those defilements. Like honey surrounded by a swarm of creatures, A wise person seeks it for that purpose, Having seen it, skillfully separates it and the swarm of creatures, Thus, it is well done. The great sage with the all-knowing eye, Sees the realm of wisdom like honey, Its defilement is like bees, Therefore, it is always well removed. Like honey obscured by hundreds of thousands of billions of creatures, a person seeking honey, Removes those bees and does the work of honey as desired. Likewise, the uncontaminated wisdom possessed by sentient beings is like the essence of honey, Afflictions are like bees, thus, like the victorious man who is skilled at destroying them. Like the essence of grain with husks, People do not enjoy it, Whoever seeks for the sake of food, etc., They take it out from the husks. Likewise, the afflictions possessed by sentient beings, Mixed with defilements, the Victorious One is also like that, Not liberated from the mixture of afflictive defilements, Thus, the Victorious One does not unite with the three existences. Like the essence of grains such as rice, wheat, and barley, not good if not coming out of the husks.
