. Vehicle. The activities of those to be tamed in the realm of those to be tamed, and going to their places and times, the pervasive lord is always spontaneously accomplished. Possessing excellent collections of precious qualities, possessing wisdom, water, ocean, merit, and wisdom sun. All vehicles must be accomplished, and they pervade limitlessly, without center, vast like the sky. The Buddha himself is a treasure of stainless qualities, viewing all sentient beings without distinction. The net of clouds of afflictions and knowledge is scattered by the wind of compassion of the Buddhas. Whoever is tamed by what, what is the activity, where, when, because that person's conceptual thoughts are unborn, the capable one is always spontaneously accomplished. What is the realm of those to be tamed? What are the many methods of taming? Where are the activities of those to be tamed? When do they fall away and what are those times? The one who definitely brings them out is their teacher, their result is their sustainer, their obscuration is the condition for cutting it off, because there is no conceptual thought. There are ten definite departures, the two accumulations are the cause of that, the result is supreme enlightenment, sustaining the enlightened beings, the obscuration is endless affliction, and the habitual tendencies of near afflictions. The condition for destroying that at all times is great compassion. These six places are like the ocean in order, and the sun and the treasure of the sky, know them to be like clouds and wind. Knowing water, qualities, and preciousness, because they are possessed, the lands are like the ocean. For the sake of nourishing all sentient beings, the two accumulations are like the sun. Because they are vast, limitless, and without center, enlightenment is like the realm of the sky. Because of the nature of true and complete Buddhahood, the realm of sentient beings is like a treasure. Because it is temporarily pervasive and not accomplished, their afflictions are like a cloud mass. Because it is nearby to scatter them, incomparable compassion is like the wind. Definitely departing by the power of others, seeing self and other sentient beings equally, because the deeds are complete without interruption, the deeds in samsara are unceasing. Indra, drum, cloud, Brahma, like the sun, jewel, and preciousness, the Tathagata is like a sound, like the sky and the earth. Just as the nature of pure beryl transforms on this earth, because it is pure, to that lord of the gods, the gods.

And with the assembly of goddesses, one sees the excellent mansions, and other celestial abodes, and the various palaces there, and the many divine objects. Then, groups of men and women, those who dwell on the earth, having seen that appearance, think, "May we also quickly become like this lord of the gods." They make such prayers, and in order to obtain it, they properly engage in virtuous deeds. By that virtuous action of theirs, although they do not know that this is merely an appearance, they are transferred from the earth and are born as gods. That appearance is extremely, without conceptualization, without wavering. Although that is so, it is close to the earth with great meaning. Similarly, those with undefiled faith and so forth, meditating on the qualities of faith and so forth, the perfectly enlightened Buddha appears in one's own mind, endowed with marks and signs, walking and standing, sitting and sleeping, possessing various kinds of conduct, speaking the peaceful Dharma, and remaining in non-speech, performing various kinds of miracles, possessing great radiance, beings will see. Having seen that, those with desire, thinking that it is the Buddha himself, strive diligently, and by properly engaging in that cause, they obtain the desired state. That appearance is extremely, without conceptualization, without wavering. Although that is so, in the world, it is close with great meaning. This is called the appearance of one's own mind, although ordinary people do not know it, even so, they can see the form, and for them, it becomes meaningful. Gradually, relying on seeing it, those who abide in this vehicle, the inner sacred Dharmakaya, will see with the eye of wisdom. Just as all lands are free from dangerous places, the stainless beryl (Tibetan: བཻ་ཌཱུ་ཪྻ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वैडूर्य, Sanskrit Romanization: vaiḍūrya, Literal meaning: beryl). The bright and beautiful jewel qualities, the stainless splendor, appear equally on top. For the sake of purification, there, the gods manifest various deities, the lord of the gods, the form of the gods. Gradually, because of being separated from the qualities of the earth, it will no longer appear again. In order to actually obtain it, through fasting, asceticism, determined giving, and so forth, groups of women and men, with a mind of prayer, like scattering flowers and so forth. In order to obtain the Muni who appears in the mind that is pure like beryl (Tibetan: བཻ་ཌཱུ་ཪྻ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वैडूर्य, Sanskrit Romanization: vaiḍūrya, Literal meaning: beryl), with a joyful mind.
