That is, wanting to accomplish that (benefit for others). The means of benefiting, holding and causing to enter, and likewise following after, should be known as the four objects of gathering. The first is the object that transforms into a vessel, the second is faith and understanding, the third is accomplishment, and the fourth is extreme taming. Through the gate of wealth and Dharma, objects of focus, etc., it is thought that there are four objects of gathering. In terms of the gate of differentiation, the objects of gathering are inferior, middling, and superior, mostly meaningless, meaningful, and all kinds are known to be meaningful. Those who possess the gathering of retinues, these are the true reliance, accomplishing the meaning of all beings, and it is highly praised as a good means. Those who have been gathered and will be gathered, and those who are currently gathering, all of them are like that, this is the path of maturing sentient beings. Thus, constantly enjoying without attachment, the master of the place of the other shore of peaceful discipline and diligence, not discriminating the characteristics of the realm of existence, that is the one who gathers the assembly of sentient beings. In the Ornament of the Great Vehicle Sutras, the seventeenth chapter, the chapter on the Paramitas and the Objects of Gathering, is complete. Because of being endowed with excellence and mind, in order to perfect the two accumulations, offering clothes and other things to the Buddhas, both directly and indirectly. The appearance of the Buddhas is meaningful, and possessing aspiration, not focusing on the three as objects, is the complete offering to the Buddhas. Sentient beings are immeasurable, there are other methods to mature them, there is a difference from the door of objects and mind, faith and aspiration, love and patience, and the door of right conduct, placing on the ground and realization, liberation and suchness are different. Causes and conditions and dedication, reliance and objects and causes, wisdom and pure lands, the offering of places is well explained. The nature of cause and effect, the nature of self and others, obtaining and honoring the nature, from the door of accomplishment they are divided into two. Offerings are small and large, with pride and without pride, combining and practicing the nature, from the door of aspiration they are thought of there. Offering the Buddhas with one's own mind, faith and

Thinking and power, as well as, completely holding the means of non-discrimination, entering into oneness with all and meaning is most excellent. Reliance is the support and basis, as well as, the cause and complete dedication, the cause and wisdom pure realms, from the gateway of the place, it is well shown. The virtuous friend is tamed, peaceful, and nearly peaceful, surpassing in qualities, rich in scriptures with diligence. That one is well understood, skilled in speech, possessing, of a loving nature, abandoning sorrow and relying on him. Respect, gain, and service, through the means of accomplishment, one should rely on the virtuous friend. The basis of reliance, likewise, the intelligent one, towards the Dharma, at the time of knowing and thinking, approaching the virtuous friend with reverence. That one does not desire closeness, respect, or gain, for the sake of accomplishment, one completely dedicates to that one. By accomplishing what is shown as stable, one truly delights that one's mind. Having understood the three vehicles with intelligence, one strives to accomplish one's own vehicle. In order to fully ripen limitless sentient beings, and also, to purify the pure realms. That one enjoys the share of Dharma, possessing qualities, one should rely well on the virtuous friend, not for material things. The intelligent one, cause and effect, as well as, following the Dharma gate, external and his hearing, the yoga of the mind with pride, and without pride, with faith, one relies on the virtuous friend. The intelligent one, going and combining, as well as, relying on the virtuous friend from the gateway of aspiration. Relying on the supreme virtuous friend with one's own mind, with faith and thought and power in the Dharma, as well as, completely holding the means of non-discrimination, entering into oneness with all and meaning is most excellent. Stable celibacy, abandoning discord. Non-discriminating, possessing wisdom. Entering into the three objects. Making sentient beings fully mature. Those of stability desire happiness, as well as, being afflicted by suffering and happiness, the afflicted ones and their treatises, entering well into that suchness. For the sake of that meaning, that suchness, as well as, for the sake of purity by attaining peace, for the sake of the exhaustion of the two actions and afflictions, loving-kindness is without object. Those moving and unmoving, as well as, not tasting with attachment, it is said. The Bodhisattva, the unmoving one, dwells well in being free from attachment. Samadhi, the nature of non-being, is small, the middle and lower grounds, inferior thought and pride.
