Furthermore, one should constantly practice that, and cultivate it with reverence. Having fixed the mind on the object of focus, one should not let its continuity be scattered. If one quickly recognizes scattering, then one should repeatedly restrain it. The wise should gather the mind inward, from higher to higher. Therefore, in order to see the virtues, one should tame the mind in concentration. In order to see the faults of scattering, one should pacify it with displeasure. Greed and displeasure, etc., should be pacified in the same way as they arise. Therefore, the one who is diligent in discipline, with intentional mental activity on the mind, obtains self-arising. Through habituation, one does not intentionally act. Therefore, having obtained great physical and mental pliancy, one should know intentional activity and what it depends on. Having increased that with that, by the increase turning spontaneously, one obtains the real dwelling. By striving for clairvoyance, having cultivated it, one becomes the most excellent of the capable. Clairvoyance is obtained from meditative concentration. Through the door of accomplishing clairvoyance, to countless Buddhas, for the sake of offerings and listening, one goes to all the worlds. This one, to countless Buddhas, for countless eons makes service and offerings. Because of making service and offerings to them, the mind becomes the most excellent of the capable. Therefore, those ones, before this, will be able to obtain five benefits, namely, by this one becomes an extremely pure vessel, this one becomes unsurpassed. In the body, all the bad destinies, in each and every instant will be exhausted. The body and mind also, will all be filled with pliancy. In the appearance of all phenomena, one will realize complete non-interruption. The reason for reality, one will see very clearly what has not been contemplated. Thus, in order to perfect the Dharmakaya and to make it extremely pure, the wise one at all times should constantly uphold its cause. Therefore, one who has become like that, a Bodhisattva in equipoise, except for the speech of the mind, cannot clearly see all meanings. In order to increase the appearance of Dharma, one should always initiate steadfast diligence. Having increased the appearance of Dharma, one will abide in mind-only. Therefore, in that, the appearance of all meanings, will all appear very clearly as mind. At that time, that which is grasped by that one, that scattering will be cut off. Therefore, that one

Holding onto that, only the appearance of distraction remains. At that time, one quickly attains samadhi without interruption. Thus, at the end of that, abandon the distraction of holding. These, in order, should be known as becoming warm, etc. Then, by that, the unsurpassed wisdom that transcends the world, without conceptualization, without stain, is attained, free from the two grasps. This is the transformation of that state, considered to be the first bhumi. This becomes extremely pure through countless eons. The realm of Dharma is equality itself. When one has fully realized that, one constantly obtains a mind equal to oneself towards all sentient beings. Towards sentient beings, one has equanimity towards selflessness, suffering, and benefit, without expecting anything in return. This is the same as other bodhisattvas. Through that, all compounded phenomena of the three realms are seen as unreal and mere conceptualizations. Wisdom, being extremely pure, sees through the meaning of non-duality. By seeing the nature of their absence, one is liberated from what is to be abandoned. Therefore, at that time, it is definitely said to have attained the path of seeing. Knowing the emptiness of non-existence, likewise knowing the emptiness of existence, and knowing the emptiness of inherent existence, it is said to know emptiness. The four signless ones are said to be the complete exhaustion of all conceptualizations. That which has become without aspiration is unreal conceptualization. All the various aspects that are in harmony with the bodhisattva's enlightenment are considered to be attained simultaneously with that path of seeing. Whoever knows with wisdom that sentient beings and compounded phenomena are merely an increase of selflessness and suffering, and having abandoned the meaningless nature of self-view, obtains the great self-view and great benefit. This is seeing the self without self-view, and turning suffering into extreme suffering. Benefiting oneself as one treats oneself, one does not expect any return for doing everything for others. Whoever liberates the mind with supreme liberation, is bound by endless bonds for a long time. Although the ultimate end of suffering is not seen, there is extreme union and action. In one lifetime, the world cannot even honor its own suffering. The suffering of others increases as the world abides. What need is there to mention the total? It is inconceivable. The bodhisattva is the opposite of that.
