And it is the meaning of preventing non-existence. As for the prevention of non-existence by merely preventing the mind that appears there, it has been previously explained in detail that it is unreasonable to be a knower and a known. Furthermore, taking "non-existent" as the object in front of the discriminating mind, and taking the mind such as the discriminating mind that appears there as non-existent, is the meaning of superimposition. Because it is not true as it is superimposed, it is especially unreasonable as a knower and a known. If that is the case, since it is the nature of being separated from one and many, then how can it be reasonable to establish "appearance is like illusion"? Here, it has also been explained previously that what is measured by the discriminating mind with characteristics such as illusion is not true in that way. The way to become a knower and a known, the suchness of ultimate truth has also been previously determined in detail. In this appropriate meaning, preventing things such as rabbit horns, circling them as the dharma of the nature that appears on their heads, etc., is like the meaning of illusion, and the nature of preventing the mind that is so focused is reasonable as a knower and a known, and it should be said that illusion has no nature of ultimate truth. The meaning of unreasonableness explained here is the meaning of putting the discriminating mind that says "rabbit horn does not exist" in front and taking it as an object. Merely preventing such things, without superimposing by the action of the mind, is true as it is. Therefore, in order to dispel the wrong conceptions of others who say that the meaning shown in these sutras is the meaning of being completely free from all sides such as existence and non-existence, and is the meaning of extreme non-abiding. With "different" etc., if the rabbit horn also exists like the horn of a cow, but if it is thought of in the suchness of ultimate truth, because the horn and the discriminating mind are separated in one and different, because such a mind does not exist, therefore, in relation to this, taking the object of "rabbit horn does not exist" with the discriminating mind is not true. Its meaning is that if the rabbit horn and the discriminating mind that appears there are different, then the mind will not arise from the cause of the horn. Both existing at different times and not existing at the same time are unreasonable as causes.
