Not associating with those. Thus, in the Holy Great Cloud Heart Sutra, it is said: "Even with hundreds of millions of demons, one cannot divide the Sangha. For the sake of benefiting sentient beings, one shows the cause of karma." Thus it is said. The term "great" refers to being great through qualities such as being an Arhat, or being great through numbers such as one thousand two hundred and fifty. Although not explicitly stated here, it should be understood through meaning. Moreover, it is taught that even the Shravakas should listen to the Mahayana and receive the share of the teacher. Therefore, it is said that those of the Shravaka lineage will enter the Mahayana and so forth. The assembly of retinue that appears in this way is actually Bodhisattvas who have manifested as Shravakas, not Shravakas by nature, because they are not the disciples to be tamed by the Mahayana. When teaching about the retinue of Bodhisattvas, the meaning of the word Bodhisattva is the wisdom of the Dharmakaya of Bodhi, which is without elaboration like the sky, and the hero who aspires to attain this is the Bodhisattva. As it is said: "Bodhi is the nature of the sky, abandoning all thoughts. Whoever desires to attain this is called a Bodhisattva." Thus it is said. Furthermore: "Cutting off attachment, all attachments are considered exhausted. The Bodhi of the Victorious Ones touches the unattached, therefore one obtains the name Bodhisattva." Thus it is said. Therefore, in all objects such as form, one cuts off perversion, and the Bodhi of the Victorious Ones touches the unattached, which means touching the wisdom of the Dharmakaya with intelligence, desiring to attain this. The meaning of the term "great hero" is to aspire for the sake of the three ultimate great fruits, namely, the great supreme nature, the great abandonment of the two obscurations, and the realization of suchness and the extent of all things, which is the great realization. Thus, aspiring for the sake of the three great things, and possessing the vast mind of the six perfections, intelligence and mind enter the Great Vehicle which is the nature of the path and the fruit, and one puts on great armor for the sake of others, that is, one cares for the benefit of sentient beings.

That which destroys the actions of demons, like an illusion. As it is said: "Becoming the most excellent of many sentient beings," and so on. And also, "Great generosity and great power," and so on, because it is spoken of in the Compendium of the Perfection of Wisdom. The "Great Assembly" should be understood as previously explained. Here, the Shravaka assembly is mentioned first because they are the permanent assembly of the Tathagata. The reason for this is that they are free from the fifteen reasons for wandering away from the presence of the Tathagata. As it is said: "Five faults and non-attainment, dislike, attachment, and displeasure, strife and gain, etc., craving and outflows, love and respect for the Lama, rare differences for the sake of meaning, downfall and offerings, and stupas, etc., for the sake of prostration, a Bhikshu wanders." As it is said, they are free from those reasons for wandering, because there is no conflicting proximate cause for constantly abiding in his presence, and there is no deficient conducive condition. Bodhisattvas are a temporary assembly, because in other world realms, when another Tathagata expounds the profound Ratnakuta Sutra, they wander to other places in order to hear it. As it is said: "The profound Ratnakuta Sutra, with immeasurable desire to hear, in limitless world realms, wherever there are wise ones, they wander, because of the exposition of that vehicle, many of them will come, therefore, in the teachings of the Sutras, the sons of the Victorious Ones are not mentioned." Because it is said. Therefore, gathering from various Buddha-fields means that when this profound Sutra is expounded in this world realm, those who dwell in other places gather here. Among them, "field" refers to the realm where the Sambhogakaya or Nirmanakaya subdues beings. "Samadhi," etc., shows their qualities. Among them, "Samadhi of single-pointedness on virtue," that is, the heroic conduct, and the precious hand seal, etc., are extensively taught in the Prajnaparamita Sutra. Similarly, the ten powers and the five or ten strengths,
