The aspect of arising will be destroyed. Furthermore, if one asserts that the nature of things such as clarity and a pot is one, then just as the pot has always existed, clarity should also have always existed; or just as the nature of clarity did not exist before, the pot should also not exist at all. If one considers them to be different, then by applying the function of the cause to clarity itself, the entity of the pot will become without a cause. In that case, the aspect of arising, where the result already exists, is also unreasonable. This very meaning is also stated in other sutras, as it is said: Goddess, how are the five aggregates established as the realm of phenomena? These five aggregates are not produced by cause and condition. If they were to arise from cause and condition, then it would be said that what has already arisen arises, or what has not arisen arises. If what has already arisen arises, then there would be no need for cause and condition. If what has not arisen arises, then arising would be impossible to ascertain. Why is that? Because all phenomena that have not arisen are non-existent, therefore they are nameless, without characteristics, immeasurable, inconceivable, inexpressible by example, and are not produced by cause and condition, and so on, extensively explained. Thus, the nature of the result, which did not exist before, will not become existent, because it will become eternally non-existent, and there will be no establishment of following or contradicting any object, just like a rabbit's horn. Here, cause and result are to be understood through following and contradicting. If so, then through inference and other means, the entity of cause and result is not established ultimately. Furthermore, direct perception and non-perception, with the aspect of being devoid of it, through two types of direct perception, the entity of cause and result is established. This is also unreasonable for this meaning, like this, two types of direct perception preceded by non-perception, in some aspects where there is no cause, from the non-perception of the result that could appear, some that are considered to be causes are ascertained, and relying on the result that appears after that, if one considers these to be the entities of cause and result, then as previously explained, for what is eternally non-existent,

It is not reasonable because the beginning of the continuum of what appears if it appears from the previously appearing allowable non-apprehension is not seen. Similarly, the non-apprehension preceded by direct perception, if some of the things that are supposed to appear as causes from the appearance of both do not appear, then some of the things that are supposed to appear as effects after that also do not appear. Such a thing is not reasonable for something that is always absent, because the beginning of the non-apprehension of both appearing and not appearing from now on is not seen. Similarly, existence is also contradictory to being absent in the past and future, because it would become always existent. There is no realization of following or contradicting any object, like mountains and so on. Furthermore, it is also unreasonable to establish it through direct perception and non-apprehension, because the beginning of the continuum of what appears if it appears is not seen. Non-apprehension preceded by direct perception is also unreasonable, because if one of those does not appear, it does not appear, because the beginning of non-apprehension is not seen. Furthermore, it is contradictory for non-existence to become existence, so saying that non-existence arises contradicts one's own words, because arising is a characteristic of things. Similarly, existence is already established, and arising is becoming established, it is the nature of not being established now, so saying that existence arises, combining the two into one, also contradicts one's own words, so if it is according to both sides, it is also a deviation from the vow, and furthermore, like the absence of sprouts, smoke, rabbit horns, etc. at the time of the cause, if one acknowledges some qualities that have become different, then it will become a thing itself, because difference is only a quality of things. If there is no difference, then just as the absence of smoke in the past arises from the collection of fire and wood, the absence of sprouts will also arise from that, because there is no difference from the absence that is supposed to arise. Similarly, just as the absence of sprouts arises from the collection of seeds, the absence of smoke will also arise from that, because there is no difference from the absence that is supposed to arise. Furthermore, the absence of rabbit horns, etc.
