This is to explain the ultimate truth of realizing the true nature of reality, which is as certain as the meaning explained in the sutras. It cannot be interpreted in any other way, so it is called "definitive meaning." The non-definitive meaning is also called "intentional meaning," which is the opposite of the previous definition, that is, it is explained in this way on the surface, but in fact the meaning is something else. As the noble inexhaustible wisdom said: "What is the sutra of definitive meaning? What is the sutra of non-definitive meaning? All the sutras that explain the ultimate truth are called sutras of definitive meaning; all the sutras that explain the conventional truth are called sutras of non-definitive meaning." And so on, widely preached. Therefore, regarding the meaning of explaining the existence of external objects such as form, because it is hindered by the pramana ( प्रमाण,pramāṇa,measure) mentioned earlier, it is not the established ultimate truth, not the sutra of definitive meaning, but the non-definitive meaning. This is because, considering the images manifested by their respective minds, in order to dispel the fear of those naive people who are attached to external objects, and gradually guide them into the Buddha's vehicle, it is said in this way. As it is said: "For those who need to be tamed by form and other aggregates and realms, it is spoken according to their wishes, like false emanated beings." and so on. In addition, on the bank of the Joyful River, in order to guide five hundred wandering non-Buddhists who cling to the self of a person into the Buddha's vehicle, the Blessed One, considering the Tathagatagarbha and Alaya-consciousness, declared 'I wish all sentient beings to have the Tathagatagarbha, which is permanent, pure, and has the nature of self,' and so on. Similarly, in some sutras it is also said: 'Monks, there are those who bear the burden of karma and karmic results.' In addition, regarding the differences in the vessel worlds of sentient beings, it is also because sentient beings who have accumulated similar karma manifest similar differences in places due to the power of karma. Considering their common manifestation, some rules regarding the size of the vessel world, etc. are established. Also, those with this
