That is, it is established on the basis of attributing qualities and persons, etc., to things. That is to say, the various appearances that appear in the mind in the manner of establishing that such and such a form is, exists, are called "dharmas." In this way, attachment or the object of attachment must be abandoned by the power of antidotes and reason. Do not separately examine the true nature of oneself. If that is the case, then for the direct perception of non-conceptualization such as earthen pots and vases, the appearance of different external objects is not reasonable. If you ask this, there is no fault. From beginningless time, due to the disturbance and obscuration of the habits of conceptualization, the mind itself appears in that way, so it is attached to different things. To say that the body is not established means that it is not established in the nature of different external objects. How should it be abandoned? Like this, settling the mind on the meaning of untruth is called vipashyana, and it can be abandoned by thoroughly seeing and familiarizing oneself with correct wisdom. Therefore, the meaning of this sutra should be understood as follows: In general, the path that will definitely lead to the attainment of all-knowingness is the union of skillful means and wisdom, as previously explained. Among them, the Perfection of Wisdom is the main path. Here, the root of all defilements is ignorance, which is attachment to real things. As it is said: "If there is an appearance of real things, then endless greed and hatred will arise, holding unwholesome views, from which strife arises, which is the basis of all views." and so on. Furthermore, "The mind that is inverted to suffering, and craving are the cause of bondage. Whoever does not have this, this birth will not arise." It is said that ignorance, which is inverted to suffering as happiness, and craving, which is the appearance of happiness, greed, and attachment, are the cause of binding to samsara and generating suffering, just like moths rushing into a flame. Like this, what can eliminate ignorance and so on is correct wisdom, but the form of skillful means such as love is not contradictory to this, so it will not become an antidote. As it is said: Love, etc.

Because it is not contrary to ignorance, all faults are not cut off by it. Liberation is attained through the view of emptiness, and the remaining meditation is for that purpose. Thus it is said. Furthermore, all these limbs are said by the Buddha to be for the sake of wisdom. Therefore, those who wish to pacify suffering should generate wisdom. Thus it is also said. Also, in the Noble Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, it is said: Without wisdom, like being without eyes, these five perfections of the other shore, without an object, cannot touch enlightenment. When wisdom is completely grasped, then one finds the eye and obtains this name. And so on, extensively spoken. Also, in the Noble Heap of Jewels Sutra, it is said: Maitreya, Bodhisattvas, great beings who practice wisdom, even if they have already committed the heaviest of all faults, they can crush them into dust with the power of wisdom. For this reason, they will not fall into wrong paths. Maitreya, for example, when a large pile of wood is added to a burning fire, the more it is added, the more intensely the fire burns, and the fire does not go out. Maitreya, similarly, when a Bodhisattva practices wisdom, the fire of wisdom burns, and the more fuel of afflictions is added, the more intensely the fire of wisdom burns, and it does not die out or become exhausted. Maitreya, therefore, in this way, the conduct of Bodhisattvas who practice wisdom should be understood as not conforming to all the world. Extensively spoken. Its meaning is that those who possess the power of wisdom, when afflictions arise in their own minds, through that very cause, they realize that their nature is free from elaboration and luminous, thereby pacifying those afflictions. Thus, in the Noble Sutra on the Two Truths, it is also said: Son of the gods, for example, if one knows how to recite a snake venom mantra, then the venom of the snake is completely pacified. Son of the gods, similarly, whoever fully knows the types of afflictions, then those afflictions are completely pacified in a very imperceptible way. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, the types of afflictions

What is that? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, in terms of ultimate truth, all dharmas are utterly unborn and unarisen, without substance. Whatever is completely conceptualized is the seed of all afflictions. Furthermore, the wisdom that realizes the emptiness of self-nature is the main part of the path, as also stated in the Guhyasamāja Tantra. It is said: Whatever the accumulation of merit of all sentient beings, as much as is fully grasped, that much arises from the bodhicitta of the bodhisattvas. Compared to speaking of the accumulation of merit of the bodhisattvas, if one fully holds the sacred Dharma, then the merit is even greater. The merit of holding the sacred Dharma, even if all the Buddhas diligently speak of it for countless eons, will still not be exhausted in the end. Holding the sacred Dharma and the merit of the bodhisattvas is not even a sixteenth part of having faith in emptiness. If one has faith in emptiness here, one will not abandon bodhicitta, and one will hold the sacred Dharma; this is the accumulation of merit. Thus it is said. Here, mistaken conceptions arise regarding the object of wisdom, so these mistakes must be dispelled, and the meaning must be determined as it is. That is to say, for those who have attained the wisdom of the noble yogic masters, it can be determined by direct perception, but how should the first bodhisattvas understand it? They should hear the correct scriptures, and relying on them, measure the meaning as it is, that is, relying on the measure of inference, and determine it through the wisdom arising from thought. As it is said: For its imputation, cutting off, through the reasoning of understanding, the yogic masters are clear in direct perception. Thus it is said. The object of wisdom is also the two truths, because all that is knowable is contained within them. Here, conventional truth is not suitable as its object, because in the Arya-Guhyasamaja-tantra it says: Means is knowing the various different dharmas. It also says: Knowing the faculties and behavior of sentient beings. Therefore, conventional truth is the object of means, while wisdom is
