If it is said to be unreasonable, then similarly, for one thing, both the knower and the known are also unreasonable. If it is said that self-arising without relying on other producers is unreasonable, then it will become either permanent or non-existent, because sometimes they contradict each other. If it is said that the knower knowing itself without relying on others is also unreasonable, because sometimes they contradict each other. Furthermore, it is also said in other sutras, "The mind does not see the mind," and "like an illusion," "not completely knowing," and so on. Therefore, the mind itself as the other of cognition is also unreasonable. The so-called "referring to the producer" means referring to things that do not exist in the ultimate sense. The so-called "various kinds," if various discriminations do not even exist in conventional truth, then it is also unreasonable to appear as various meanings, because it would be like rabbit horns and so on. If it is said, "If there is no examination," etc., if there is no examination of things different from the mind, etc., and they exist as the nature of the mind in conventional truth, then the mind will also appear as real. The so-called "beginningless possession," etc., if there is no mind in conventional truth, then it is unreasonable to appear as real. The so-called "how now," etc., just as there is no meaning now, there was none before, and similarly, because there is no mind, the continuation of the mind stream appearing as meaning is unreasonable. If that is the case, then teaching emptiness, etc., is unreasonable. If this is asked, then the answer is that "suchness" etc. is taught, and those are taught with reference to the ultimate truth. The so-called "mind manifests without appearance" means that it does not exist in the ultimate sense, but appears in various ways, and such distinctions arise from beginningless habits. If it is said that from beginningless time, meaning does not exist, and similarly, if the mind does not exist, then it is unreasonable for distinctions to increase. The so-called "how without meaning," etc., means that if there is no meaning, then the arising of the mind appearing there is also unreasonable, which is the same argument. The meaning of the answer is that it is accepted that it does not arise in the ultimate truth, but in conventional truth, because the seeds of mind, etc., exist, so they are not the same. The so-called "all these" etc. refers to the teaching of suchness of non-arising etc., and the meaning of the words has already been taught before. "Aggregation like the views of non-Buddhists" refers to distinctions.

Since arguing that coarse things disappear due to destruction, it is unreasonable to accept that atoms are permanent things. The words "things do not exist" and so on, express the meaning through names such as "unborn." The words "pot and blanket" and so on, indicate that the characteristics of existence and non-existence are interdependent and examined in relation to each other. If the basis of non-existence is not established, then it is unreasonable to conceive of existence itself. "Without cause, not without cause." This phrase is for the sake of double affirmation. That is, if one basis transforms into another, then the mutual dependence will be endless, which is also unreasonable. "Without illusion, one sees the place," meaning that if there is no appearance of illusion, one can see the two realities of things like trees and rubble. Similarly, due to the inversions such as dualistic appearance, reality is obscured, and if there is no such appearance, one will see suchness. "Mind-only is unreasonable." This means that in the ultimate truth, the nature of mind is not established. If that is the case, then it is unreasonable to say that the aggregates and so on exist, if someone asks this, the answer is that it is said considering different thoughts. Therefore, even if one practices such a meaning, one will not attain liberation. "Habits obscure wisdom." This means that the mind itself, obscured by habits, appears in various ways. "The thinkers" refers to those thinkers who have not understood it that way. "The mind approaches the noble." This means that when the state of a noble one is attained, the characteristics of the mind subside and transform. The words "If all this" and so on mean that if everything is mind and there is no external thing, then using the container world such as land, and actions such as walking are unreasonable. The meaning of the answer is that by the power of such thinking, using the ripened things that are examined, that is also the appearance of one's own mind. "For those who do not strive" refers to those who do not strive to practice the antidote. "Arising from the object" means arising from what appears as an object. "The name of examination is nameless," meaning that all phenomena are just names, and the name itself is also just a name, the nature of the name is empty of truth. The five dharmas and so on
