If one wishes for arising, then why wouldn't the hope of non-existence arise from causes other than that, such as clumps of clay? Because there is no difference from non-existence. The detailed meaning has been explained before. Life is the life force. If that is the case, then didn't the Buddha himself also speak of the aspect of non-arising? That is the previous view, explaining the view of other schools. The necessity of explaining it in that way is to prevent those beings who are attached to entities from always changing in that way, and to lead them to realize the suchness of non-arising by enticing them with meanings that are in accordance with it. Furthermore, the one called "Kapila with Yellow Hair" is the teacher of the Samkhya school, the sage Kapila. By "whatever entity" and so on, it is shown that in conventional truth, awareness with its cause appears. "The object is the object of focus" means that the object that has become the nature of mind appears as form and so on. "The way of the object of the noble ones" means that attaching existence or denying non-existence to the meaning that each noble one can realize for themselves is not being skilled in my way. "The mind of the world" means that it is what is measured by worldly people, and it is not the true nature of mind-only. Arising like a dream means that the nature of mind appears as duality. Absence of characteristics is ultimate truth. By "how" and so on, it is denied that self-awareness exists in ultimate truth, just as the edge of a sword cannot cut itself, and a finger cannot touch its own tip, so too, the mind cannot know itself. The meaning of this is also because self-appearance is empty. If one admits self-appearance, then it will become self-establishing itself, and the aspect established by it, becoming dual. If here, self-awareness is not through the way of one's own aspect appearing to oneself, but rather, turning away from insentient things or non-things, and arising as the nature of awareness, that itself is self-awareness, then why not say that things arise themselves without other causes? There also, turning away from things that have not arisen, and becoming the nature of arising, is itself self-arising, or arising by itself. If there, one's own nature is singular, becoming the object to be produced and the producer, not
