. Therefore, according to their view, among the three doors of liberation, emptiness is the aspect of the truth of suffering, namely emptiness and selflessness. Signlessness is the eight aspects of the path and cessation, namely signlessness is cessation, and the aspect of the path is signlessness. Wishlessness is the four aspects of the truth of origin, and the remaining two aspects of the truth of suffering. Not being attached to all dharmas means not being attached to all afflicted dharmas. The unexamined result is what is obtained by abandoning the conceptualization of what is grasped. Therefore, solitary realizers consider the nature of external grasping to be examined. Other-nature is not like the view of the Samkhyas, mistakenly believing that it arises from the self, but rather believing that it arises from others. Therefore, only the grasping mind arises continuously. These can also be applied to Bodhisattvas, because they also consider external objects to be unreasonable in conventional truth, and that other-nature in the Mind-Only school arises continuously from others in conventional truth. Regarding the differences of individuals such as Hearers, dispelling wrong views, such as "the ten things," etc., has been explained in detail before. "Things are," etc., refers to the method of obtaining signless samadhi. If things do not appear, then the appearance of non-things dependent on them also does not exist, because they are the same and mutually amplify each other. If things and non-things are contradictory, then how can they be made the same? Therefore, it is said "when...", that is, not knowing the mind moving on external and internal objects, such a non-referential mind, at that time, the grasping of things and non-things will be destroyed, and the equality of mind will also be obtained. Furthermore, the things of conventional truth themselves do not exist in ultimate truth, therefore they are not contradictory. Also, how can the grasping of things be stopped? Therefore, it is said "primordially possessed," that is, children grasp at the self of a person, thereby covering the mind stream, just like taking out a big nail when it is small, by showing aggregates and other things to induce, thereby dispelling the grasping of the self of a person, and the grasping of aggregates and other things is also emptiness.

Now, it is refuted by the teachings, and the clinging to the characteristics of emptiness is also refuted in this sutra of definitive meaning by teaching the meaning of union like illusion. 'Its cause is focused on that.' This extensively shows how consciousness arises, and the arising consciousnesses arise from the Alaya and focus on the Alaya. The mind is afflicted. The mind is the collection of the six consciousnesses, and its cause, the Alaya, also produces its own subsequent similar kinds. Such as these. 'Ripened birth' and so on, refers to the distinction of consciousnesses, which is the direct perception arising from ripening. As it is said: 'Offering a lamp gives eyes, the sound of music gives ears.' Such as these, all of which have been previously taught. Blessings are given by the Buddhas, and the direct perception obtained through their blessings. 'Classes and beings arise.' This means that the various classes of beings also arise from the Alaya, and the direct perception obtained by them through karma also arises from it. 'Whatever is found in dreams.' This means that through the blessings of the pure abode gods and others, even in a state obscured by sleep, the direct perception of things appearing as they are. Thus, there are four kinds of direct perception. 'Whatever' and so on, clearly shows these. 'Direct perception, ripened birth, not that.' This is to dispel the doubt that the direct perception and the classes of beings have the same origin, arising from past karma. What is obtained from karma is obtained from any non-meritorious karma. Even hell beings and pretas can know the minds and decisions of others. What arises from ripening arises from past meritorious karma and present actions, which are the five direct perceptions. The seeds of their karma and the seeds of karma blessed by them are also placed in the Alaya and arise from it. The direct perception of the exhaustion of defilements is the state of the eighth ground and above, so it is not necessarily arising from it. Furthermore, the way in which these arise from the Alaya is extensively shown by 'Through habits.'
