It is not allowed to touch it with hands, but to use vessels such as bowls, offered by donors, etc. It is not allowed to cause harm to sentient beings directly or indirectly. The so-called "being a son of Shakya" means acknowledging oneself as a renunciate who is a son of Shakya. Speculating in many ways should be combined with "examining the basis for the emergence of meaning," etc. In order to clarify the necessity of establishing precepts, the stories that are told are now being examined. The Tathagata once said to Ananda that he could freely abandon minor precepts, and now at the time of Nirvana, you should ask me. Therefore, it can be declared that minor precepts such as meat-eating are permitted by the Blessed One. The so-called "appearing as a reason for eating meat" should also be combined with this meaning. Alternatively, "the emergence of meaning" can be combined with the meaning that those want to achieve. Furthermore, if the Tathagata allows and it is feasible, then it should not be forbidden to eat all meat, but because it is done that way, it is not allowed. If so, does it mean that nothing is allowed at all? If you have doubts about this, then from the Wheel of Dharma of the Four Noble Truths to the teachings between the treasury of knowledge holders, and the individual liberation vows, Bodhisattva vows, and the precepts of knowledge holders, like the rungs of a ladder, gradually establish three kinds of precepts. In order not to harm the higher-level precepts that have great significance, the three pure meats, etc., which were allowed to the Shravakas, are also prohibited in the higher vehicles. Therefore, although the ten kinds of naturally dead meat are not prohibited, here, in order to subdue Rakshasas, etc., or to avoid causing harm to sentient beings directly or indirectly, all meat of all beings, at any time or circumstance, Ananda, is completely prohibited without a better method. Among them, the ten kinds of naturally dead meat are not those that died because some Shravakas or Bodhisattvas, etc., ate them, but those whose lives were affected by internal and external adverse conditions. From the external conditions, there are sentient and non-sentient beings.

There are two types of harm. Non-sentient beings also appear as the four elements of earth, etc., which can harm life. In that case, there are five types of external obstacles. From the internal perspective, there are diseases caused by wind, diseases caused by bile, diseases caused by phlegm, and diseases caused by a combination of these. Thus, there are four types of obstacles, plus death due to the exhaustion of lifespan, which means the favorable conditions are not complete. In that case, there are five types from the internal perspective, which add up to ten in total. That is, just as people do not eat human flesh, but are still deprived of life by these ten causes of death. The three purities, and the teachings in the Vidyadhara's Pitaka that Na, Gaha, etc., can be eaten, are all included within these. The ultimate meaning is like that. But here, it is possible that merely relying on eating meat can harm sentient beings, and as before, in order to subdue rakshasas, etc., everything is prohibited. Eating the food of Dharma, not the food of samsara, this is in reference to those who have attained the bliss of samadhi. The meaning of omniscient and all-seeing is that even if one knows, if it does not manifest in the mind, it is possible not to see, but it is not like that, it is seeing all sentient beings. The verses also show a more profound meaning than the previous content, so it is explained in more detail. The meaning of applying oil to the body, etc., is because that will make the body fat, or become deaf and dumb. Furthermore, one should not sleep on beds made of wood, etc., that have grids, because the tiny creatures living in those grids will be frightened by its movement and sound. Arrogance belongs to the category of pride and conceit. Discrimination, in short, is clinging to the characteristics of being beneficial or harmful. Attachment makes the mind deluded, etc., means that desire makes people blind, without shame and embarrassment, etc., or also, being completely deceived by desire, one will be thrown into the ocean, one will be thrown into the battlefield where weapons fall densely, etc. This is what needs to be accepted.
