Furthermore, these also arise in a continuous stream, and after arising, they will also perish, that is, gross perishing, or perishing in each moment. If it is said that immediately after ceasing, there is no certainty that other consciousnesses will arise, because in cases of fainting and so on, the six consciousnesses cease, and do not arise immediately, as is shown in this way. It is not like that, because those contradictory things will immediately produce their respective habitual tendencies for the Alaya consciousness, becoming the nature of consciousness, producing other and different habitual tendencies. The so-called non-abiding in a moment means not abiding in a moment other than its own time. The so-called momentariness of habitual tendencies means that the nature of existence in the conventional truth, which possesses contaminated habitual tendencies, is momentary. The reason why all of these are believed to be momentary is because of reasons such as being made or existing. Details can be understood from the treatises of reason. By saying with uncontaminated habitual tendencies, it becomes the antidote to contamination, free from elaboration, and in terms of the ultimate nature, it is not momentary. Therefore, immature people do not understand the dual meaning of momentariness in the conventional truth and non-momentariness in the ultimate truth. Some people think that the momentariness of mind itself does not exist even in the conventional truth, and fall into nihilistic views. Some people, on the contrary, fall into the extreme of imputation. Therefore, Nirvana and other unconditioned dharmas will also perish, becoming the loss of what has not been attained. The so-called great wisdom and so on refers to showing the differences in the dharmas that those consciousnesses possess and do not possess. Among them, the five sense consciousnesses, as mentioned earlier, are not the cause of samsara and Nirvana because they do not have continuity. For this very reason, they are also not the experience of the ripening of happiness and suffering. The Alaya consciousness is the cause of not experiencing happiness and suffering, or rather, Nirvana is accompanied only by equanimity, therefore, it will also become the cause of such Nirvana.

Furthermore, because it possesses the predispositions of the four defilements that will be explained below, it enters into samsara and does not become the cause of liberation from suffering. Therefore, it is also contrary to (liberation). The "Great Wisdom" and so on show the pervasiveness of the constant things being regarded by children as non-momentary things. As for "differences" and so on, they will be explained in the verses below. Here, obtaining direct realization refers to the wisdom of the path of seeing and so on. If these are of the nature of destruction, momentary, then the noble ones would become non-noble ones, because they have not obtained the state of nirvana, permanence, purity, and bliss. The following words are the opposite of the above. The so-called not being skilled in speaking in a roundabout way means that saying that all things are momentary is said for the purpose of arousing aversion to samsara in childish beings, but they did not understand this. The so-called how to examine is the tone of abandonment, that is, it is not appropriate to examine in that way. If that is the case, then what is done or exists is momentary, and it is unreasonable to show it in this way, if you ask. It is true, but the meaning of these words is that even the nature of momentariness is not established in the ultimate truth. There are two kinds of conventional truth: worldly conventional truth and yogic conventional truth. Among them, the former is the appearance of ordinary worldly people. In their appearance, gold and vajra and so on appear as the nature of not becoming momentary. Therefore, in conventional truth, these are called permanent. The conventional truth of yogis is the appearance of these things. All their appearances are focused on momentariness. Therefore, it is established in this way. Here, such worldly conventional truth is also called inverted conventional truth. However, in order to satisfy them, the Blessed One also spoke in accordance with this. Again, with "Great Wisdom" and so on, as an answer to the previous question of "how many perfections are there?", it shows the six perfections of the path, which are summarized as the path of cultivating the essence. The so-called for the various places of birth in samsara means to perfect generosity in order to obtain the state of a universal monarch and so on, these are also form.
