The five-line verse briefly explains the meaning, and then the four-line verses explain these meanings in detail. Then, the two-line verses explain the differences between the ground and the person who dwells on the ground, in order to avoid confusion, and explain the differences such as expansion and contraction. Among them, the meaning of the words 'the seven grounds are the mind' is that the seven grounds of the Bodhisattva, the eight aggregates of consciousness have not yet been transformed, so they are called the grounds of the mind. In the eighth ground, in the state of samadhi, the appearance of both the grasper and the grasped does not exist, and in the subsequent state, one also obtains freedom from non-discrimination, because of the attachment to these and the absence of them, it is called non-appearance. Then the ninth and tenth grounds are the proximate cause of the Dharmakaya's wisdom nature, so they are called places, or because they each have freedom over the wisdom of perfect discernment, and freedom over the activities of magical powers, so they are places for expounding the Dharma and subduing various activities, so these are the grounds of places. Other than these, the eleventh ground is the nature of the Buddha, that is, the two obscurations and their habitual tendencies are purified, and suchness is self-realized by each individual, and the qualities of abandonment and realization are ultimate, this is called the nature of the Buddha. This also mainly shows the nature of the Dharmakaya, and the place of the Sambhogakaya is 'Great自在', etc., that is, the appearance of the body and the minor marks, etc., are transformed into the nature of wisdom, and one has freedom over all the perfections of the world and beyond, that is, the ground that appears in that pure land is made of jewels, and is decorated with various jewels and appears magnificent, just as flames and various rays of light arise from a pile of fire, the various pleasing rays of jewels are the appearance of the merit of those born in that place, therefore there is no harm or disharmony, it is peaceful. Also, from that body of wisdom nature, for the Bodhisattvas of the ten grounds, one should also add the pleasing various Mahayana Dharma rays, and the peacefulness arises greatly.

Those with wisdom also manifest the three realms in the future, manifest in the present, and manifest in the past. If the three realms are not manifestations of the karma and afflictions of those sentient beings, then how can they be said to be manifestations of wisdom? Although it is true, the Tathagatagarbha, which has become the nature of that wisdom, is the dharmata of the minds of all sentient beings, free from elaboration and luminous. It is taught with the intention that the three realms appear in various ways from the transformation of that appearance. Likewise, from the transformation of one's own awareness, karma arises from inferiority, one seizes and one does, one is one's own king and one's own master. It is like that which was said. In such a special place, only the Mahayana is directly taught, and through the gate of emanations transmitted from it, various vehicles are taught, which is its nature, the very essence of wisdom, and not established as an external entity other than that. Thus, the various distinctions of the bhumis and vehicles, or the individuals who abide on them, are in this very sutra, or spoken from others, so what is the definite meaning for those to be trained? To dispel doubts or perversions, it is said, "The one with ten bhumis," and so on. According to the manner shown earlier, some of the Shravaka lineage manifest the Bodhi of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas in sequence, and then generate the supreme Bodhicitta, completing up to the eighth Bodhisattva bhumi, which are the previous two inferior bhumis and the eight Bodhisattva bhumis. Thus, having completed the ten bhumis, it is also called the one with ten bhumis. That itself was previously a Shravaka, and also the first to enter the path and fruit of Nirvana, so it is called the first bhumi. The meaning of that is that even though it is not a Shravaka at the time of completing the ten bhumis, it is taught in this way by consistently calling it by its previous name. Furthermore, if one elaborately distinguishes the bhumi of such a Shravaka characteristic and the individual abiding on the bhumi, it is like the white dharmas, etc., shown earlier.
