Also, one constantly strives to ripen all sentient beings. In reality, although the decrease and increase of all dharmas are not perceived, in conventionality, one rejoices in the merit of sentient beings, and dedicates and aspires the merit arising from it to complete enlightenment, and so on, as it is said. Comprehension and realization, etc., are synonyms, or especially realized in the manner of individual self-awareness. Such words that appear below should also be understood in the same way. Being skilled in realizing one's own nature from above and above at all times means experiencing the distinctions of the wisdom of realizing the first ground, etc., as they are. The nature of these and the distinctions of complete purification, etc., will be explained below. Regarding mind, etc.: Mind is the alaya-consciousness, the ego-mind is the intellect, discrimination is by consciousness, and the five see appearances. As it is said, in order, the six, such as the alaya, the afflicted mind, and the consciousness of the mind, etc., realize that their respective natures are emptiness, and are extremely delighted with such a nature, and regard the three lineages as severed, that is, they regard the nature of conditioned phenomena as separate from arising, ceasing, and abiding. As such, it has also been said by previous scholars. Furthermore, ignorance, craving, and grasping are the uninterrupted stream of afflictions. Formation and existence are the uninterrupted stream of the path of karma. The remainder are distinguished by the uninterrupted stream of the path of suffering, as stated in the Holy Ten Bhumi Sutra. The meaning of this is that, in brief, the twelve links of dependent origination, namely the three lineages of affliction, karma, and birth, are severed, and such is the wisdom of knowing exhaustion. Furthermore, all sentient beings

That which is free from elaboration and is clear and luminous is the realm of the Buddha, which is the cause that is homogeneous with it. In that, abide equally in the manner of individual self-awareness, and because of that, the mirror of the mind becomes clear, and from within the clear sky, the Buddha appears as a form and hears the voice. What is the voice that is heard? It is "Lord of Lanka, well done, well done!" Because of the wonder of expressing its realization, it is mentioned twice. Again, "Lord of Lanka, you are good!" is because it will also be beneficial to other disciples, so it is said, "Very good!" It is advised that others should also learn as you have realized. Thus, in other sutras, it is also said: If a boy bodhisattva possesses four qualities, he will quickly manifest the supreme and perfect complete enlightenment, and will also be able to obtain patience with the profound dharmas. What are the four? In the Buddha, seeing as the nature of Dharma and not as form; in the Dharma, seeing as free from desire and not as letters and definite words; in the Sangha, seeing as unconditioned and not as a community; the eye of wisdom will become completely pure. These are the four. And so on. Other than that, if one looks at the form of the body, the signs and marks, and the sixty branches of the voice, etc., then one will fall into the extreme of imputing its own nature, and one will not see the Buddha-nature, as previously shown. Also, if one thinks that what appears now is the nature of the minds of the disciples, or that the continuous manifestation of the Buddha's wisdom is not even a mere convention, then it is a slander against it, and it will turn into the extreme of annihilation. With "you," etc., it is an instruction to the chief of the disciples. That is to say, one should practice transformation, away from the state of the Alaya that is not completely pure, and away from the manifesting consciousness. One should meditate on the nature of the inner mind, which is the meaning of collecting all dharmas. The view that falls into the realm of the meaning of words, and that is not samadhi, that is to say, the view that distinguishes in the images of various meanings mixed with various expressions, and the concentrated samadhi that abides in such various signs.
