The meaning should also be examined and established as the meaning of the union of the Middle Way. The so-called "emptiness is not empty" means that such a Dharma nature pervades everything. The so-called "gathering of conditions" and so on, is to establish the reasoning for measuring no-birth and so on. Its meaning is that, due to the gathering of aspects of ignorance and craving, etc., the limbs of existence enter in order, and when these cease, they will be reversed. In reality, birth and cessation are not established separately from the aggregation, nor are they the nature of the aggregation itself. This meaning has been explained in detail above. The so-called "one and" etc., is a further explanation of that meaning. Just as the Samkhya and others believe that the cause and effect have the same essence but different states, the Vaisheshika believe that they have different essences, and others believe that all things are one from the perspective of generality and different from the perspective of manifestation, here it is believed that the cause and effect and other things are not different, and so on. Furthermore, it is unreasonable for the result to exist or not exist, and these have been explained in detail above. And neither existence nor non-existence exists in any place or time. Therefore, production is unreasonable in the ultimate sense. Apart from that, in the conventional truth, the nature of the result is that the dust has not yet gathered, or the subtle particles of consciousness have gathered, and the cause also enters and reverses from such a gathering. If you ask: Is the gathering itself not a thing? The answer is: That is to examine the existence of things with gathering in a related way, and the things with gathering themselves are only examined as they appear, as mentioned above, and they are not established as things. The so-called "mutually dependent and related" means that the gatherings are mutually dependent and related, and for this very reason, these are unreasonable in the ultimate sense. Alternatively, the meaning of these is that the distinction and establishment of cause and effect is merely a fabrication, which is related by mutual dependence, and for this very reason, it is not established in the ultimate sense, and these have been explained in detail above. The meaning of the so-called "conditions are related" etc. is that, in the conventional, the conditions of ignorance and action, etc., whatever necessarily arises after whatever, is the relationship of those, apart from that.

It means that externalists consider that there is no separate dharma to be produced from the object of the fruit. Therefore, avoid the wrong view of inferring in this way, and do not be associated with this wrong view. Starting from "where", etc., it is to refute the views of those with wrong views and externalists. The meaning of "the relationship is completely destroyed" is that if one admits that something that necessarily arises after something, different from the object of the fruit, there is a dharma to be produced, then one should examine whether the object of the fruit is produced or not. If it is produced, then it itself is the object to be produced, and it is meaningless to infer anything else. If one infers in this way, then other inferences are also needed for it, which will become endless. If the object of the fruit is not produced, then there is no relationship between it and what is considered to be the cause, because different things cannot become one, and because it is not produced, there is no relationship arising from it, so the relationship is completely destroyed, and it will become a statement that the fruit is causeless. In addition, the Samkhya school considers yogurt and milk, etc., to be the objects of cause and effect. The nature of yogurt related to milk originally exists, and is not different from milk, so it does not need to be produced. However, they believe that from a previously unclear state to a clear state, through cause and condition, there is such a thing to be produced, which is "the relationship is completely destroyed", because only the clear state will be produced by cause and condition, and the nature of yogurt, etc., is unreasonable to produce. Therefore, it will also become a statement of causelessness. If it is said that the clear state is produced by cause, so there is no fault, then if it is considered that this state does not exist when the cause exists, then the view that the fruit exists when the cause exists will be destroyed. If it exists, then since it has already been produced, production is unreasonable, so the relationship between cause and effect will be destroyed, and it will become a statement of causelessness. Where does the object exist, meaning in whose view does the object to be produced exist, or where will the object of the fruit appear. If so, then the lamp illuminates the vase in the dark, and the vase did not exist before.
