If so. Such an assertion is also unreasonable, because the differences in attainment and abandonment of yogis are seen. The term "without an object" means that all consciousnesses do not apprehend. Valid cognition and sense faculties are the general characteristics of subsequent inference, etc., and are not the objects of direct perception of the sense faculties. "Relying on the aggregates" means that they are made the cause, or placed before the mind. "Not the aggregates, not with the aggregates." The meaning of this and so on is that it is not the nature of the aggregates, nor is it related to them, nor is it different from others, because all are mixed in the nature of reality. The meaning of "whoever" and so on is that the apprehended object of conceptualization, which appears as the nature of how it is examined, is not merely an appearance, as previously explained. "Existing" and so on means that the differences examined in relation to mutual contradiction are also not valid as suchness. Merely engaging with sound means that what is taught as existing and non-existing, etc., is engaging in the manner of grasping at the characteristics of sound as it is, thus falling into two extremes, one's own self will also degenerate from the happy realms and liberation in future lives, and will also cause other children to degenerate, therefore it is said to be destructive. Liberation from all faults is the Middle Way that is not like sound, but abandons both extremes. Understanding in this way will not slander the guides, and will be respectful, while on the contrary, those who grasp at sound as it is will slander by viewing the Tathagata as annihilation, etc. After that, Bodhisattva, etc., refers to showing the synonyms of names that have the meaning of Tathagata, saying that unborn and unceasing are the definitive terms of the Tathagata, as it is said: The ever-constant unborn Dharma is the Tathagata. All Dharmas and the Tathagata are the same. And so on. The meaning of what is said in this way is that birth and so on do not exist even conventionally, like a rabbit's horn. Therefore, is the Tathagata showing that he does not exist even conventionally? Or is this one of the synonyms of the name that shows the illusory wisdom of the Tathagata? If so, according to the first view, all Dharmas and the Tathagata
