If it depends on its own single previous cause, and becomes both cause and effect, and the single previous cause also depends on the single later effect, and becomes both cause and effect at the same time, then such a thing is contradictory and impossible. Therefore, the general meaning here is: if dependent arising appears to be truly real, then it is generally produced from causes and conditions in accordance with the appearance. Moreover, it is generally the case that causes and effects do not confuse each other. Because causes and effects would be confused here, it is unreasonable for causes and effects to be truly real. Object and object, etc., show that the nature of mind, knowledge, and other's power is like an illusion. Among them, the first completely pure and ultimate mind is that in the conventional, all defilements together with seeds are cut off, the nature of non-dual self-awareness, which is held by the four wisdoms. Mind-less mind, as mentioned before, is the meaning of union. If it is said that it is only like this, it is not established as a real thing other than that, is it not existing as a real thing of truth? The answer is, only that is the realm of self-nature. It means that in the ultimate truth, it becomes the self-nature of emptiness of Dharma-nature. To show it clearly, it is to cut off conditions and real things. The ultimate real thing is the supreme of Brahma. It means that the ultimate wisdom is to cut off all defilements together with seeds. Truth, etc., shows that it is selfless in all circumstances. Among them, the self of a person is falsely established on the continuum of the five aggregates, but it is not real. Similarly, the five aggregates themselves are also like that, only falsely established on the nature of appearance, there is no real existence. Therefore, all conditioned phenomena are equal, equal in four ways: in the conventional, equal in the characteristics of birth, dwelling, and destruction; equal in arising from the real things of cause and condition; equal in selflessness in the ultimate truth. This is in terms of what is to be known. The fourth is the same as before, the ultimate wisdom of the yogi, is to cut off the defilements such as the view of the collection of destruction, and the appearance of various discriminations and grasping of discriminations, is the ultimate mind. No real thing, etc., generally speaking, are those.

That is to show your own mind-only. It is not truly existent in the ultimate sense, nor is it non-existent in all respects like a rabbit's horn. Unceasing awareness is the nature of union. As previously shown. Thusness, etc., indicates the synonym of emptiness as mind-only. The limit is the true limit. Discrimination, etc., indicates the mundane mind-only. In the state of being with defilements, the various appearances due to the power of the habit of discrimination are the nature of mind itself. However, worldly people do not understand it that way. Other than that is just knowing. Furthermore, here, regarding the manner in which discrimination arises, the meaning of the treatise that abandons debate is that if discrimination arises continuously due to discrimination and attachment to the various appearances of external objects, then, Blessed One, regarding the various unreal objects appearing to one being, etc., it should be combined with the following passage of the treatise. Its meaning is that if discrimination arises due to discrimination and attachment to the various appearances of external objects, then how can attachment and discrimination to the nature of ultimate truth not arise? Etc., as before. Therefore, it will not turn to the side of all afflictions. Furthermore, Blessed One, various external objects, etc., discrimination arises from such examination and clinging, but if it is removed by blocking its object, will it become more excellent? If so, then Blessed One, etc., the meaning is as before. If it is removed from the nature of example and cause, then because of such removal, it will fall into the view and thought of worldly nihilism, it should be combined with the following. Its meaning is that both the inverted discrimination of the external and the form of accepting its antidote as true wisdom arise from not having arisen, and after arising, they are equally to be removed, and because they are removed, they are the same as nihilists. Then, Bodhisattva, etc., is to explain extensively from other aspects by clarifying what was said earlier with the difference of the manifesting causes. Among them, the arrangement of words and letters is gathered in an orderly manner. Arising from the cause of habit.
