etc. That "Those are also mine," etc., as previously shown, are the seeds of the roots of virtue of those themselves, and by the blessings of the Tathagata, when will they awaken from the realm of the uncontaminated, generate the mind of supreme enlightenment, complete the two accumulations, and attain the Dharmakaya. The explanation of the second chapter, called "Gathering All Dharmas" from the Noble Lankavatara Sutra, is completed. Furthermore, through these remaining chapters, one should also know the place where the meaning of gathering all dharmas should be understood, and the suchness of those, which becomes the essence of the Tathagata, and the path that purifies it, and the result to be obtained by the path. These four are extensively shown through means such as abandoning disputes. Therefore, the meaning of this sutra is summarized in these four aspects, and these are also conventionally transformed into the appearance of the mind, but ultimately they are emptiness. Thus, the union of awareness and emptiness, only consciousness is the Madhyamaka, which is the meaning explained in this sutra, as previously stated. Among them, this third chapter explains with ten kinds of meanings, first, extensively explaining the previously mentioned mind-body, that is, "Furthermore," etc. This should also be understood from six kinds of meanings, among them, first, the cause of obtaining the mind-body is the special samadhi, that is, the bodhisattvas on the third ground obtain special samadhi and Dharani of hearing, so it should be known that the boundary of initially obtaining the mind-body is from that state. The nature of this is also not the accumulation of fine particles, but the nature of samadhi and wisdom. The appearance is like appearing adorned with star flowers, and like being born from the four elements, appearing in the form of color and shape. The reason for the defining word or etymological explanation, as previously said, is as fast and unobstructed as thought, and because it is aggregated by parts, it is called the mind-body. The classification is divided into three types, first, the mind-body that enters into the bliss of samadhi, is from the third ground to the seventh ground.

The accumulation of the eighth consciousness, untransformed, appears in many forms. Recognizing the emptiness of their respective natures and meditating, entering the ocean of the Alaya consciousness, the characteristic of the consciousness wave is the defiled sensation, without arising attachment, abandoning the afflicted samadhi that is mainly existence. Therefore, abiding in the joy of undefiled samadhi. The objects of experience that appear to one's own mind are real in the conventional truth, but not real in the ultimate truth. Therefore, with the wisdom that understands the meaning of the union of the two truths and the dharma of samadhi, it is called the mind-made body. In some scriptures, when it is said that "the mind-made body that abides in joy arises," it refers to: at that time, because of the untransformed basis of consciousness, and the attainment of wisdom and samadhi that understands emptiness, therefore obtaining the mind-made body that abides in such joy. Furthermore, the "three grounds" mentioned here refer to the first to the third grounds. Because it is said in the sutras that the first ground also attains the Akashagarbha Samadhi and so on, therefore there is no contradiction in obtaining the mind-made body from that time. As it is said in the Holy Prajnaparamita Sutra: "A Bodhisattva who has attained the path of seeing will not develop eye diseases, etc." Therefore, for the mind-made body that realizes the nature of dharma, especially after the eighth-ground Bodhisattva attains the formless samadhi, when abiding in such peaceful samadhi, the Buddhas, in order to perfect their two accumulations, arise from samadhi, and with subsequent wisdom, realize that all dharmas are like illusions, etc., obtain the seeds of all Buddha dharmas such as powers, fearlessness, etc., and truly know their nature as it is, and with such a body go to all Buddha-fields, cutting off all places of doubt therein, thereby truly knowing the nature of dharma as it is. It is said: "The seven grounds are the mind, the eighth is formless." Therefore, the illusion etc. mentioned here.
