Because the ultimate nature of reality is one, the vehicle that embodies the path to realizing this is also ultimately one. This is how it is understood. Abiding in suchness is the meaning of realization. This understanding refers to the ultimate realization of suchness. Therefore, because the realization attained by Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, etc., cannot produce the ultimate fruit, their realization is not the ultimate path, but only a branch of the Mahāyāna path, and not anything else. Therefore, it is said to be one vehicle. The detailed meaning of this has been explained earlier. With "Mahāmati's request," etc., it is stated that disputes about it have been abandoned. The meaning of these is that Śrāvakas, etc., are shown as three vehicles, so they will be tamed, and not otherwise. The details have been determined earlier. The meaning of "Tathāgata's taming," etc., is that, depending on the inclinations of those to be tamed, various methods of taming the Dharma are shown, as well as liberation from noise, etc., through the teachings of solitary yoga, especially for Pratyekabuddhas. "Not by oneself" means not relying on the teachings of the Tathāgata, but attaining liberation and nirvāṇa through one's own wisdom. "Not abandoning the habitual tendencies of karma" is as stated in the scripture: "Although there are no afflictions, yet in them, one sees the faults of karma." Furthermore, the latent tendencies of afflictions have not been abandoned either. Regarding "not obtaining the death of inconceivable complete transformation," the difference between obtaining and not obtaining it should be understood as explained earlier. Furthermore, the meaning of "worldly," etc., is that by knowing the pure world, one perfects the accumulations of generosity, etc. The unconditioned that transcends the world is the wisdom of equipoise. In this regard, "The vehicle of gods and Brahmās" says: "Speaking sweetly and not being angry, even if the beggar is young, one should give. Abiding in these three aspects is the cause of being born as a god." Or, there are also those who meditate on dhyāna and the formless samādhis, and their fruits. The Brahmā vehicle is particularly

Also, the immeasurable ones are completely grasped by samadhi. As long as the minds enter. This means that until the alaya-consciousness, together with the seeds of reversal, enters, the temporary path and the state of fruition arising from that are inexhaustible. Like that, for the object of experience where the abode has transformed and the wisdom of non-appearance has manifested, there is no vehicle. The elaborations such as the individual who is liberated by relying on it are pacified. If that is the case, why are various things taught? It is taught that the establishment of vehicles, etc. Among them, the three liberations are the same in terms of abandoning afflictions, the three kinds of enlightenment. The selflessness of phenomena, etc., is the suchness of ultimate truth, and the wisdom that realizes it is liberated from afflictions, and also the obscuration of knowledge is abandoned, it is the Great Vehicle of the nature of the fruit. It is said that the hearers have not abandoned those, such as how. Among them, being extremely distracted by characteristics means being distracted by the various self and general characteristics of the aggregates, etc., which is not abandoning the obscuration of knowledge. In suchness, although the manifest activity of the obscuration of afflictions has been abandoned, the latent tendencies have not been abandoned. Those also rely on some means of pacifying those through the gate of seeing faults in feelings and perceptions, being intoxicated by the intoxication of samadhi that is devoid of the wisdom of realizing suchness, having abandoned the manifest activity of afflictions, and abiding in the realm of the uncontaminated. Is that itself the ultimate fruit? It is said that there is nothing further than reaching the other shore. If that is the case, will one regress and wander in samsara? One will not regress from that either, because one knows the selflessness of the individual, that actions are momentary, and knowing that one's own nature has done what has to be done, there is no accumulation of karma that causes rebirth in samsara, and because the causes and conditions for the manifest activity of craving and grasping are not complete. Just as a tree that has been moved to the ocean does not sink to the depths, and like dwelling in one place without being certain. In the realm of the uncontaminated, how long will one abide and remain? With the samadhi
