I said before, therefore, if these are considered the same, then the very nature of the other-powered object of emptiness will become a non-object, or similarly, the object itself will become a non-object, which would lead to contradictions becoming one. That's (what I said before). Furthermore, since these are cause and effect, it will become that objects arise from non-objects, or that the non-object of the completely imputed arises from the other-powered object related to names and signs. From abiding in the completely imputed, the other-powered is the close object. This clearly shows the meaning of cause and effect, as explained before. "Related to names and signs" means the grasping object of conceptualization that appears mixed with speech, which is the other-powered, which is the very nature of conceptualization. The imputed is extremely unestablished, because it does not arise from others, which is from the perspective of refuting extremes, just like a lotus in the sky, extremely unestablished, it is not reasonable to be a result arising from others. Therefore, the completely imputed of names exists as the nature of mind in conventional truth, and the other-powered that has become the nature of mind is also not reasonable as a truly existent object, as shown before. Furthermore, the difference between these is that the completely imputed, whose characteristics are completely severed, does not exist even in conventional truth, while the other-powered exists, and it is easy to understand that this is not contradictory to what was said before. Another reason from the perspective of refuting extremes is that an object does not become a non-object, and it is unreasonable for an object to arise from a non-object, therefore, the completely imputed of names does not exist even in conventional truth, and it is unreasonable for the other-powered to truly exist. At that time, the ultimate nature, etc., explains the benefits of realizing the meaning in this way. Then, two verses show the differences between these. As shown before, the three completely imputed are included in the imputation of cause and effect as one, so there is no contradiction with saying that there are twelve. If someone says that according to the tenets of the Great Vehicle, it is accepted that there are eight aggregates of consciousness, therefore it is unreasonable for the other-powered to be six, then, that is indeed true, but the alaya-consciousness and the afflicted mind, because they are subtle aspects, without clear manifestation, are merely not mentioned here.

With phrases like "individually," it is shown that it is inappropriate to differentiate the Suchness that is realized individually by wisdom in such a way. The various establishments are the essence of Suchness, which is of one taste, and only yogis can realize it. When accustomed to it, Suchness manifests, and obtaining the nature of the Dharmakaya, it does not go beyond that. If it appears mixed with speech, it will become other-powered. If one thinks whether names and signs are the same, then "signs are" and so on, the meaning of which has been explained before. With "imputation," as previously explained, it is the imputation of names, and signs arise from the previous other-powered nature. With "by wisdom," it is summarized and shown that the three natures do not exist in reality. "What is discriminated" means what kind of distinguishing characteristics are discriminated, and the meaning to be discriminated is not established. If it is thought that there is a thing established here that has abandoned the two extremes of existence and non-existence, and the Mind-Only school considers it to be the ultimate reality of the Middle Way, then such a thing is contradictory because existence and non-existence are contradictions of exclusion and complete exclusion. Because blocking one establishes the other, it depends on it. Liberation from the two would become the nature of both, which is impossible. If so, where does such a contradiction exist? "In the nature of imputation, the two natures are mere designations," meaning that it exists in the face of such inverted discriminating wisdom. The various contradictions that appear in this way are discriminations, and such purified inversions are completely established as something to be realized individually by the noble ones. The wisdom that appears with various discriminations is like an illusion of other-power. Thus, in conventional truth, the nature of the three natures is established without being mixed. With "in another way" and so on, if one clings to something other than the illusion of other-power as an object of ultimate reality, then it will become inverted. Therefore, what is established by such realization is discrimination, and it is not established as it is discriminated. Because discriminating wisdom is seen and experienced, it continues in conventional truth.
