Saying "there is not" is looking at the aspect of illusory union, and saying "seeing" etc. is the same as before. This explanation is not unreasonable, because in the noble Prajñāpāramitā it is also said, "Those who have entered the stream have also arisen, will arise, and will arise in this profound Prajñāpāramitā," and so on, even arhats have arisen, will arise, and will arise. Furthermore, those who wish to study in the Śrāvakabhūmi should also listen to this profound Prajñāpāramitā, should hold it, and so on. If that is the case, then one will become a Bodhisattva, and it is not reasonable to be a Śrāvaka. No, because compassion is small, one does not generate the supreme Bodhicitta, but generates an inferior mind. The detailed meaning of this should be understood from the Lamp of Reality in the Explanation of Madhyamaka Light. Therefore, that view is the root of all views and afflictions, and if it is abandoned, then all of them will not arise. Obtaining understanding means realizing the meaning of the four truths through the wisdom of hearing and thinking. Extreme seeing is what becomes manifest through habituation. The two views are the grasping of self and what belongs to self. By abandoning them, there will be no doubt about the dharmas included in the four truths. Therefore, towards other teachers such as lions, robbers, and Kṣitigarbha, there will be no thought of relying on them by distinguishing whether these are pure or impure with the defilement of inversion. It is said, "Do not rely on other śramaṇas and brahmins," or "Always like Mount Meru, without doubt in one's own place." In the middle and extensive chapters of the Mother of the Conquerors, it is also said, "Those who have entered the stream, abiding in the place of entering the stream, have no wavering in their own place and do not consume doubt," and so on. Thus, doubt is also shown through the door of antidotes. The reason for not being arrogant about morality and asceticism is that the morality and

I clearly see that practicing asceticism with five fires, jumping on spear points, abandoning the body at the confluence of rivers, etc., as well as the practices of wrong asceticism, such as the asceticism of dogs and peacocks, etc., and life sacrifices, etc., are the very source of suffering in this and other lives. Moreover, one is not arrogant even with correct discipline, because one has realized selflessness. The so-called "unchanging self" is because the self, which is the master of karma, etc., is permanent. Those who desire the fruits of their respective karmas, the enjoyments of beings, and the happiness of meditation, etc., seek to obtain the status of gods and humans who possess those pleasures, and are proud and conceited, thinking that they possess the disciplines, etc., that enable them to obtain them. The so-called "not arrogant" means that the noble ones are not arrogant in that way. The meaning of "other, I," etc., is that apart from worldly enjoyments, etc., they abide in order to obtain the distinction of wisdom, the wisdom of the Dharmakaya, each for themselves, and in ultimate truth, they have no attachment to those. The so-called "limb of discipline," etc., explains the previous content. The so-called "great wisdom," etc., speaks of the benefits of abandoning those. The so-called "great wisdom prays," etc., shows the desire that is abandoned at the stage of entering the stream. The so-called "desire of the body's senses for objects" refers to the appearance of objects from the objects themselves, such as form and touch, and the body's senses, etc., and the attachment to the pleasure that arises from them. It is happy now, but in the future it will become the cause of suffering, as the noble Samadhiraja Sutra says: "Whatever desire arises from women, this is the greatest among desires, bound by the mind by attachment to women, later it will be burned by fire." Therefore, fists and palms are for the sake of play because they follow desire. The so-called "abandoned by obtaining dwelling in the bliss of samadhi" means being separated from desire because of excellence. Also, seeing faults, etc., are other antidotes. Other than that, there is nirvana.
