Fearing the faults of "becoming impermanent" and "even if different, clinging to it in that way," it is not appropriate to prophesy in any case, which is the acceptance of such meaning. Furthermore, the Samkhyas acknowledge that it is not appropriate to prophesy in any case whether nature and state are the same or different. The Vaisheshikas, on the other hand, believe that it is not appropriate to prophesy whether atoms and the gross, limb-possessing matter composed of them are the same or different, and so on. By refuting these with words such as "great wisdom," the Tathagata has clearly elucidated this point. The meaning is that because the tirthikas are completely ignorant of causes and reasoning, when they accept contradictory meanings, if they prophesy on these particular points, they will be subject to logical harm, and therefore they are afraid and do not prophesy. However, the definitive meaning of my scriptures, the ultimate reality of self-awareness that is non-dual, and so on, is free from elaboration, and even conceptualization does not enter it, because it transcends the realm of investigation. For such things, how can there be a fabricated meaning to be placed? Furthermore, for those who accept the aspect of things, if asked "does it exist in one or in many?" or "what is the particular dharma that is encompassed by which particularities?" whatever is prophesied will be associated with faults, and therefore it should not be declared in that way, "This should be placed," which is a reversed examination of meaning. Through words such as "great wisdom," the previous meaning is explained in greater detail. I say, "I will declare it at another time," which means that for those to be tamed who, for some reason, cannot be declared to beforehand, when the faculties of those to be tamed are fully matured, I will declare it. Furthermore, for other to be tamed, I will declare it even at that same time. Therefore, all conventional dharmas that appear and are experienced are merely encompassed by the particularities of "being truly born or unborn, existing or not existing," and so on. Since other aggregates are unreasonable, whether or not these particularities are asked, it is for the purpose of cutting off the doubts of those to be tamed.

They are unborn in the ultimate sense and without inherent existence, therefore it is appropriate to prophesy the emptiness of inherent existence, and indeed it is taught as such. Because these dharmas are summarized by these characteristics, and there is valid cognition that harms aspects such as birth and entity. Otherwise, there would be faults such as "the negation of negation is affirmation," which has been explained in detail before. Action and agent are cause and effect. If so, it contradicts the previous statement of negating the two extremes. It is not so, because that is the negation of the extreme of imputation by conceptually fabricating phenomena such as existence and non-existence. Here, there is no contradiction because the unbornness of inherent existence and so on is taught as the nature of dharmas as they are, as explained in detail before. Therefore, those who are attached to the name of speaking of non-abiding, it should be known that what they teach is inverted. The statement that all dharmas are impermanent is a prophecy of the conventional truth. Characteristic birth and non-birth. This means that the conventional appearance of birth is unborn in the ultimate sense, and the nature of unbornness itself is unchanging, so it is called permanent. The meaning of other words is easy to understand. Among them, answering in one stroke means answering many questions of the other party with one sentence. For example, someone asks: Will all births inevitably perish? Are the Three Jewels a fertile field of merit? And so on. Like prophesying "yes" like that. Differentiating and prophesying means someone asks: Will everything that has ceased be born again? Are the Three Jewels just one? And so on. For these questions, this principle is not certain. The continuum of ceased things can also be born again, such as the aggregates of appropriation of infants. There are also those that are not born, such as the final aggregate of an Arhat ceasing. The Three Jewels are also one, such as the ultimate Dharma of cessation, and the Buddha Jewel or the Dharma of the path and the Sangha Jewel. There are also different ones, such as the Buddha and the Sangha and so on. Like teaching in this way. Asking and then prophesying means how
