Therefore. Similarly, all that appears as things is the characteristic of the general aspect of grasping, which is the discrimination of one's own form. To this, discriminate in the same way, that is: in the conventional, it is the nature of discrimination, and in the ultimate, there is no realization of emptiness, and it appears as such due to the attachment to the characteristics of form and so on. In the ultimate, it is not established as a thing, and in the conventional, it is the nature of mind, therefore it is the nature of illusion-like consciousness. Furthermore, by "Great Wisdom's Question" and so on, it shows the abandonment of the refutation of it, that is: illusion is dependent origination, therefore it contradicts what is said to be unborn. Furthermore, it is unreasonable for a thing to be without cause, and it also contradicts what is said to be unborn. The meaning of the answer is that, as shown before, the universal arising and non-arising appear as mind-only, and there is no external object, therefore it is seen that it does not arise from having a cause and not having a cause, so it is also not born with the nature of an external object. Since consciousness is like an illusion, there is no contradiction. In the ultimate, the arising of mind-nature consciousness is also unreasonable. In the conventional, it is established as arising, therefore there is no contradiction with non-arising and illusion-like. The cause and effect accepted by the heretics are the ultimate truth. Furthermore, what is said to be a thing is a conventional thing, and in the conventional it arises from a cause, therefore in the ultimate there is no contradiction with non-arising, which is clear. The necessity of teaching in this way is to take hold of samsara, that is: it is shown by "my disciples" and so on. Mind-nature is only the continuum of consciousness, things really exist, and the differences between karma and result and so on are shown. Some people, because they are afraid that their mind-continuum will be connected with suffering in other lives, in order to turn away from that, take hold of the place of birth as gods and so on by means of virtuous actions with outflows or various unwavering actions. Some people, in order to be liberated from other sufferings, take hold of being born in samsara by means of karma and aspirations and so on, and for that meaning the sound of things is spoken. How is the true place, that is, how is the reality of the true place, that is: seeing it as inconsistent with that. Eliminating is the self-nature of the ultimate things

It is considered as a collection. Restraining is returning from the reversed and establishing in the correct view. Furthermore, with words like "Great Wisdom," the reason for the path of purifying the Tathagatagarbha, which is tranquility and insight, is explained. Among them, complete understanding is relying on these to obtain the dharani that belongs to the part of mindfulness and wisdom, which becomes the cause of enduring the profound Dharma. That itself is also the object of tranquility and insight, and the object of the edge of things, these three. Not following is relying on these and not discriminating various signs. From that onwards, etc., merely distinguishing and showing those differences without mixing. Among them, the collection of names is placing some things like a vase in front, and in order to understand that at the time of speaking, naming it "This is a vase," and things of the same kind as that. A thing refers to the thing itself. The collection of words is the many meanings of words, many names, etc., gathered together, showing the object of entry and exit of a person seeking meaning, such as "There is a vase in a certain large direction," etc. The truth of many meanings is the conventional truth. Not being taken away means that the meaning of the word is like that and not otherwise, abandoning the place of doubt. Exhaustion means that the meaning is exhausted only in those. The object is what appears mixed with words. Here, for the meaning of words, showing it as a collection of words is for the purpose of realizing that no meaning different from words is established, as shown before. The collection of letters is the difference of letters arranged in order, by which names and words are established and appear. Letters and symbols, and marks that definitely show meaning, and objects related to meaning, and for one's own meaning, pointing and saying "This is it," belong to the category. Furthermore, etc., is explaining those themselves from other ways. Among them, the exhaustion of words means that countless letters are connected, but it is not a dwelling without exhaustion, but there is a slight interruption. Between A and Ha are the other letters of vowels and consonants. The end of the letter is the end of the vowel.
