Etc. in space. This, arising from manifest clinging to showing this to others, etc., is form. This is sound, etc., which is shown and demonstrated by way of cause. The language of dreams is that in a state of being deluded by oneself, appearing as Devadatta, etc., connecting the previous experience with "this is it," then remembering it, and in the state of waking up from that, knowing that the object of such discrimination and appearance does not exist. Such an appearance is the language called dream. This is just an example, other examples of illusion, and appearance in all dharmas is like a dream, it is an appearance without substance, this is the language that is spoken. The language of the conceptualization of a bad state is the recollection of what the enemy did before, who caused harm, and who gave help, etc. In short, it is the language that arises depending on the cause of afflictions being close, such as speaking harsh words, etc. The language of conceptualization from beginningless time is the self-nature seed of the bad state of manifest clinging to various elaborations from beginningless time, that is, that bad state itself is the seed of various conceptualizations, the language arising from that. How is that again? Just like reciting something to be recited, although the general meaning does not appear immediately, it is the language arising from the habit of previous familiarity. This is also the language of pervasive arising belonging to the obscuration of knowledge. The language of the characteristics previously shown is that it appears immediately as the meaning of form, etc., and arises from clinging, therefore, these are not the same. Among them, the language of dreams is the language included in the aspect of antidote, while the other three are the languages included in the aspect of disagreement. Therefore, the previous words one hundred and eight, etc., should also be known to be included in these. Then, again with "Bhagavan," etc., he asked that the cause of language is not only gathered in those, but there are other causes. The discernment of language is discrimination, meaning that the function of language's discernment has become the nature of discrimination as before, or discernment is the manifest.

ra(藏文:ར,梵文天城体:र,梵文罗马拟音:ra,汉语字面意思:惹)字是离尘之故,是诸法之门。pa(藏文:པ,梵文天城体:प,梵文罗马拟音:pa,汉语字面意思:帕)字是显示胜义之故,是诸法之门”等等。

Combined with "object of activity," that which is made an object by non-conceptual wisdom becomes the possessor of that consciousness. Furthermore, in what place or time, from what cause, in what manner, and by what condition does it arise? These words should be connected accordingly. The meaning of the answer is that, as previously explained, cause and condition appear as the aspect of a general meaning or become the nature of their predispositions. And the place one wishes to express is the location of the palate, tongue, and so on. The place or time is also the place or time itself where causes and conditions gather. The manner is the way in which the order of letters is arranged. Thus, what is taught as dependent arising is empty in the ultimate sense. To explain the meaning of what was taught, there is "Mahamati's question," and so on. If it were one, it would not make the meaning clear, because the action and the agent cease in itself. Thus, the discrimination that arises from words and all words is without inherent existence because, in the ultimate sense, it cannot be said to be the same as or different from that. This should be combined with the answer to the previous question about the essence of words. Again, "Mahamati's question," and so on, also refutes the ultimate truth of words or the object to be indicated by words from another perspective. Some non-Buddhists assert that words and letters themselves are ultimately true, as it is said: "The eternal Brahma of beginningless time, the true sound is every letter." And also: "Om(藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:Om), the single letter is Brahma, whoever speaks me and remembers me, having abandoned this body, goes to the supreme state." Thus, all varieties are the Brahma of sound, supremely true in the ultimate sense, and therefore they believe that sound and meaning are one. Others say that sound expresses things as they are, arising from the power of things, and therefore its meaning is the self-characteristic of the ultimate truth. Here, Buddhists also say: "A(藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A) is the door to all dharmas because it is unborn. Ra(藏文:ར,梵文天城体:र,梵文罗马拟音:ra,汉语字面意思:Ra) is the door to all dharmas because it is free from dust. Pa(藏文:པ,梵文天城体:प,梵文罗马拟音:pa,汉语字面意思:Pa) is the door to all dharmas because it reveals the ultimate truth," and so on. And also: "A is the best of all letters, a great meaning is a sacred letter, arising from within.
