Just as samsara and nirvana are, all dharmas are non-dual, because great wisdom is the cause of different characteristics. Where there is nirvana, there is no samsara; where there is samsara, there is no nirvana. Therefore, all dharmas, like samsara and nirvana, should be said to be non-dual, meaning that all things are by nature transformed. The minds of sentient beings are like gold; when they are defiled and when they are undefiled, the streams of moments are different, so samsara and nirvana are mutually different in nature. However, their non-duality is because the nature of sentient beings or one is not of the two. If one says that it is constant and one, then for those who claim non-duality, liberation and non-liberation, poverty and wealth, etc., will become one, which is the intention of the All-Knowing One. Emptiness and, non-arising and, non-duality and, the characteristic of no self-nature, those included in the sutras should understand this meaning, meaning that the characteristics of emptiness, etc., have been explained as seven types. Non-arising also has two forms, such as illusion and, eye disease, etc. Momentary arising and, cessation, etc., are not different dharmas, so those who are fully accomplished, because the form of duality does not arise, are without self-nature. Therefore, in sutras such as the Saṃdhinirmocana Sutra, this is also the meaning. Those who truly know the ultimate truth of no mind and, no appearance as non-dual are emptiness in all forms. In that, the emptiness of the dualistic forms of conceptualization that appear separately inside and outside is infinite and unspeakable, so it is a brief explanation for children, and the excellence of the differentiated emptiness has been explained. This has been said many times. In the Holy Mother Prajñāpāramitā, in order to cut off as many conceptualizations of the inverted knowledge of sentient beings as there are, the order of emptiness is taught as much, so emptiness is infinite. The ultimate emptiness

Now, the second is the nature of discrimination. Since it is free from discriminating between things and non-things, there is no discrimination that appears as different to it. In order to exemplify the inverted knowledge of sentient beings, the All-Knowing One established mirages and so on. Great Wisdom, for example, mirages deceive deer because they are attached to what appears to be the reality of water, but there is no water there. Great Wisdom, similarly, all the teachings of the Sutra Pitaka are to satisfy the discriminations of children, not the talk that pleases the wisdom of the noble ones. For example, for the sake of external meaning, the teachings on impermanence, suffering, impurity, and so on, as well as the aggregates, etc., are to satisfy children. For the sake of guiding sentient beings with such a mindset, the teachings are endless. As it appears in the Ṭīkā: Without seeing the true meaning, like an elephant acting as a monk, only worldly fools increase external thoughts. By teaching the absence of self in persons, in order to remove attachment to self, the suffering of samsara is also averted. After that, by teaching the absence of self in phenomena, contemplating the samādhi with and without appearances, and all the distinctions of the grounds, and through the aspiration of good conduct in Bodhi, for those noble ones who have entered into the All-Knowing Wisdom for the benefit of themselves and others, this is not the talk of contemplation. It should be understood that what is not the talk of truly establishing is not the ultimate truth. In order to fully know all phenomena, and to have no doubt about that reality, therefore there is no difference in debate. Therefore, one should follow the meaning, and not be overly attached to reading the scriptures, thus the All-Knowing One spoke to Great Wisdom. In the Holy Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra, in the explanation by Yeshe Palsangpo, after the hundred verses of supplication, the part about explaining the Alaya-vijñāna and the explanation of emptiness combined, belongs to the second chapter, there are three in total. Beginning to explain the Tathāgatagarbha, to this, Great Wisdom requested the All-Knowing One: including wishes and gods.
