Abandoning the view of permanence is the supreme generosity, abandoning the perversions arising from cyclic existence by abandoning bathing, fire offerings, unobstructed precipices, auspiciousness and inauspiciousness, food, and holding various kinds of attire. For those who are defiled by the constant manifestation of clinging to self and what belongs to self, suffering is like a moth drawn to a flame. By completely knowing the two kinds of selflessness, liberation from clinging to self reverses the suffering of cyclic existence. The wise are those who completely know for themselves. The so-called non-observation of concepts means that for meanings that have not been understood, thinking "is this so or not" is practicing on the cause, which is called conceptualization. Completely knowing the cause that distinguishes existence and liberation, there is no doubt about this, therefore he has no doubt about the Dharma. Because of being separated from clinging to self and so on, one must realize one's own nature in all grounds from higher to higher, and the wise one is thus established as the lord of the grounds. Those who are skilled in completely purifying all the grounds must realize the nature of all the grounds, higher and higher. The wise, who can especially realize their own nature, are skilled in the samadhi of two and non-two. In order to attain the qualities of the higher and higher grounds, the accumulation of enlightenment, merit and wisdom, and the great power of yoga of various forms, the Buddha-fruit, one should speak of calling companions, because one is great by being proficient in wisdom and means. The so-called love of the solitude of the nature of mind, intellect, and consciousness comes from this sutra itself: The mind is the alaya-consciousness; the ego-mind itself is the intellect; that which grasps objects is called consciousness. Apart from the mind, there is no appearance of objects and consciousness. Just as in dreams, objects such as forms and consciousness appear, but there are no objects there, and there are no consciousnesses such as eyes. Therefore, because the mind does not meet equally, various beings appear from the power of ignorance and the maturation of karma. Coarse and subtle forms are distinguished by wisdom, and when there is no object of focus, liberation will be attained.

Ra ro. The so-called "view of the extinction of the three times" refers to the fact that at a certain moment, since there is no second instant, the three instants of the past, future, and present gather together and are unrelated. Because after the former there is it, therefore there is this, it is very certain that it arises dependently, and it is only the establishment of the relationship between karma and fruit. The so-called "suchness" refers to the fact that the calling companion fully understands the selflessness of phenomena and persons. Therefore, it is called liberation from the faults of the views of non-Buddhists. All non-Buddhists consider consciousness to be separate from the cause, that is, they believe that the cause commonly regarded by non-Buddhists such as Isvara, Mahadeva, and Brahma is that any object with a special shape is made by an intelligent person, just like pots and pillars have special shapes such as bodies, actions, and places. The appearance of sand and the like in shapes due to the power of water and the like is not made by an intelligent person. At certain times, due to the power of aggregation, the sprouts of lotuses and the like appear, and there the action of an intelligent agent is not visible. As Dharmakīrti said: By concordant and discordant, whatever arises from whatever place, if there is another cause other than that, then such transformation is endless. Therefore, those who speak of two and non-two, in the calling companion there is no sign of the error of the universally imputed non-Buddhist, because of attachment to permanence and self, one must know the suffering of samsara, and know selflessness, so as to be able to prevent suffering. The so-called "Tathagatagarbha Buddha enters within," the Tathagatagarbha is all sentient beings. Similarly, the non-duality within, the dharma that knows as two is the state of the Buddha. Because it is the same as the nature of non-duality, it enters into equality just like fire is universally present. Hearing the sound refers to the calling companion hearing the sounds of the Tathagatas. From whose wisdom, wisdom abides in true words. Whoever has such yoga, he has heard, thus the words are explained. Well done, well done, it means that the Tathagatas should be viewed in this way.
