And, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Asuras, Garudas, Kinnaras, Mahoragas, humans, non-humans, and so on, in various forms. The lords of yoga bless those forms that cause sentient beings to have faith and be tamed. When one has served and honored many Buddhas, the lord of yoga who possesses many forms, because the Yaksha dwells there, at that time, in order to seek the realm of non-duality, therefore saying, "Please explain," in the manner of calling a companion, first praising and requesting, one should contemplate and examine. The Blessed One is seven years old, etc., which is supremely pure. Free from desire and all-knowing, with various forms, the lord of yoga accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings, with superhuman diligence and the lord of yoga proclaims, which is a summarizing word. Who dwells in this town, etc., is a request in the manner of calling a companion. The way of explaining from that Liberation from that, etc., is saying that for the aggregates that appear as form, etc., those that appear as two, guiding them to show impermanence, selflessness, impurity, suffering, etc., is the spoken word of gradual instruction. The object of experience that each individually realizes is non-dual, it is for those who dwell in the profound principle of the doors of liberation of emptiness sleep, signlessness, wishlessness. The Lankavatara Sutra is saying, it is the profound principle of the Middle Way of Consciousness-only, which was spoken by the previous Buddhas. "Please explain, All-Knowing One," this is the meaning of requesting in the manner of calling a companion. If the Yakshas hear the Dharma from the previous All-Knowing Ones, they might doubt and say, "What else is there to listen to?" Therefore, in the manner of calling a companion, they spoke those things to be abandoned, "Yoga is completely free from faults," etc. Having heard the Dharma from the previous All-Knowing Ones, because of completely knowing impermanence, selflessness, suffering, impurity, therefore regarding permanence, self, agent, bathing, fire offering, cliff, auspiciousness, inauspiciousness.

And yogis who hold jewels, roots, etc., individuals who are free from the fault of pride in manifesting liberation, and those who think of the selflessness of all dharmas. The yakshas are here. This is what the omniscient ones of the past praised, those who are free from the faults of non-Buddhist yogis. Because by explaining the Dharma that is superior to them, they are made to realize other realms, therefore it is said that they truly enter. By believing in the way of the Mahayana. And so on, the Mahayana is because it is the vehicle of the great ones. Or because the thought is great, because it has entered to liberate all sentient beings. Because the assembly is large, it is great by the difference between the grounds and the perfections. Because one practices the conduct of enlightenment diligently for many eons without getting tired, this is greatness in terms of time. The fruit is great, that is, it is adorned with the branches of qualities such as being free from attachment, and omniscience, and accomplishing the benefit of all beings, and the ten powers, and fearlessness, etc. In this way, the Mahayana, having entered oneself, also causes others to enter, that is, the Bodhisattva thinks in the manner of calling and accompanying in order to make the yakshas etc. appear in various forms. The so-called Lord of the Three Realms, here refers to the Bhagavan as the Lord of all sentient beings. Having resided in the immeasurable palace of flowers, he receives offerings and teaches the Dharma. By calling and accompanying, he also exhorts the great Bodhisattva, the virtuous one, the wise one, to abandon the Dharma of the Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and non-Buddhists, and to enter the profound, supremely pure Mahayana Dharma that benefits all sentient beings. Solitary conquerors and hearers, freed from non-Buddhist faults, each individually realize the purity of Dharma-nature, and are able to attain the ground of Buddhahood. Regarding this, the individuals of Solitary Buddhas and Hearers, although they have completely realized selflessness, are attached to external objects, thinking that external objects are real. Non-Buddhists, on the other hand, believe in permanence, self, power, superior giving, bathing, fire offerings, sacrifices, and cliffs.
