Having completely understood selflessness, one is liberated. No one else can grant or hinder the power of miracles and joy, etc. Neither auspiciousness nor inauspiciousness, holding jewels and gold, eating fruits and roots, etc., vomiting, fire offerings, cliffs, etc., smearing with ashes, pulling hair, dirt, and holding dreadlocks, etc., can bring liberation. Neither can the ascetic practices of cows, deer, and peacocks, etc. Only by completely understanding selflessness and abandoning all views can one be liberated. This is thinking in a way of calling out to companions. The meaning of 'self-awareness' is to truly realize manifest awareness, like the eye consciousness definitely entering, holding the breath and truly realizing. The teacher is the non-dual teacher, the entrance to teaching the general characteristics of impermanence, selflessness, impurity, and emptiness, etc. One with such characteristics cannot speak of their own awareness. If one speaks like this, what is said? In the difference between meaning and sound, one does not wish to speak of the speaker and what is spoken, because that is not what was seen before. In general, it should be expressed concisely. The nature of Dharma is two and non-two, and also the nature of the Dharma of two and non-two. Among them, the characteristics of two are the characteristics of the aggregates, elements, sense bases, dependent origination, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the ten powers, and the fearlessnesses, etc. The nature of non-duality is being free from the conceptual thoughts of the grasper, the grasped, the speaker, what is spoken, the producer, what is produced, the action, the actor, things, and non-things. The body that is perfectly accumulated by virtuous Dharma, the Tathagata shows the emanation body through illusion, each self-aware delights in the Dharma of discrimination, the Able One appeared in the time of the Lankavatara. 'Virtuous Dharma' refers to the characteristics of generosity and other perfections. Praising and prostrating to the body that is perfectly accumulated by these virtuous Dharmas, praying for benefit. The former is the word of action, the latter is the word of calling. Showing the emanation body through illusion.

That is to say, the Buddhas do not pass into nirvana, and the Dharma does not disappear, but in order to fully ripen sentient beings, they show the passing into nirvana. This is the manifestation made by the emanated bodies of illusion. How is appearance proclaimed? It is said in the scriptures: 'In that very place, the Buddha appears, the teachings of the wise of the world flourish, but those without wisdom do not see it, because they have not practiced pure conduct.' The otherness of the two aspects is the conventional truth, and the non-dual principle is the ultimate truth. The omniscient one distinguishes between the with-form and formless samadhi, therefore, the Bhagavan is revered as great and proclaimed with joyful sound. One's own realized truth cannot be proclaimed to others. Then, how do yogis tell others about hearing, realization, and discriminating consciousness? Indeed, teaching can be done in a general way. For others, what is their own characteristic that has become their own awareness, can they naturally show it to others? In logic, the verses of Bhartṛhari are quoted: 'Because of being connected with fire, it is called burning, the mind turns into something else, through the sound of burning, the meaning of burning, it is known elsewhere.' In Dharmakīrti's logic: 'Concepts are expressed through sound, this is for the purpose of discernment, at that time it has no own characteristics, therefore it is not a concept.' The nature of happiness, etc., cannot depend on others, nor can it establish a connection. Therefore, they are their own and have no connection with expression. In the true sense, meaning is self-nature, combined and without difference. Are forms one or many, these are all illusions of the mind.' The omniscient one also uses the with-form and formless samadhi, and the power of all yogis, the ultimate truth, the non-dual Bodhi, the discrimination of being and non-being, is free from these. With the compassion of the ultimate truth, he abides in the with-form samadhi. 'The Lankavatara Sutra' says: 'Past Buddhas' etc., when the past omniscient one heard the teachings of joyful sound, the Bodhisattva retinue, with the saints as the main ones, gathered, abiding in various forms, namely gods and nagas.
