Beginning with non-essential particles, even if combined with caste and merit, it distinguishes the special among the special. The relationship here is the relationship of wisdom, that is, substance to substance, merit to merit, action to action. Some say that liberation will be attained by fully understanding the web of lineage of the special ones. The action of the Samkhyas is that liberation is attained by fully understanding the twenty-five Tattvas, that is, by fully understanding the twenty-four forms that consider Purusha (पुरुष, puruṣa, Self, man) to be superior to Guna. That which exists, particles, darkness, and qualities exist equally is the master. From that arises the great, that is another name for wisdom. From the great arises ego. From ego arise the five Tanmatras, that is, the five objects such as sound. From the five Tanmatras arise the five elements and the five sense organs, namely ear, skin, eye, tongue, and nose. The five organs of action, namely the joints, hands, feet, genitals, and the characteristics of the sexual organs. Mind is universal thought. Sentient beings are the nature of Purusha. Merely knowing the twenty-five Tattvas, no matter where one likes to live, shaving one's head, plucking out one's hair, having children, one will be liberated, there is no doubt about it. The Samkhyas think of liberation in this way. That is to say, unless the afflictions are completely exhausted, liberation can be attained by understanding the difference between nature and Purusha. If that is the case, then why can't liberation be attained by understanding the differences between birds, walls, cloth, pots, and so on? Until existence is completely exhausted, liberation can be attained by fully understanding the differences in the substance and qualities of the special ones. If that is the case, then why can't liberation be attained by understanding the number of grains of sand in a sand pile? Similarly, the view of the heretical Kapalikas is that there is existence, non-existence, and both existence and non-existence. Existence is the nature of the general. Non-existence is the nature of the particular. Both existence and non-existence are the nature of the general and the particular, these are the aspects that should be spoken of. In the aspects that should not be spoken of, it is the nature of the general.
