Thus it is. In order to purify the stream of one's own mind's appearances, etc., some things, like gold, are gradually purified of impurities by refining them with alkaline substances from the earth. Some, however, are instantaneous, like a lamp illuminating the objects in a house, etc. The noble Mahamati, having thought thus, asked the All-Knowing One in this way. As for gradually engaging in laughter, etc., when does one not sing? Thus, some things arise gradually, while others arise instantaneously. Just as various images appear in a mirror, non-discriminating consciousness instantaneously manifests, which is the meaning of grasping. Thus, the lords of the earth who have progressed in stages, the stream of ignorance without afflictions, that is, the stream of the non-manifest mind, is tamed by the Tathagata. Free from the karmic imprints of the bad states of one's own mind's appearances, like the removal of cataracts from the eyes, for those with inconceivable wisdom, like the realm of activity of the Victors, the realm of the All-Knowing is instantaneously revealed. The objects to be known, the lords of the ten directions, like flowers on a peacock's tail, remove obscurations and place them on the Buddha ground. For example, in the Alaya-vijnana, etc., the body and the place, the objects of enjoyment, are the body and the earth, and the objects to be known by the consciousnesses of the eye, etc., these arise instantaneously. The Buddha who is like the cause, etc., arises from the non-dual aspect of perfect enlightenment, and from the body of Vairochana, who is the perfect enjoyer appearing separately in the mind, the illusory emanation body arises, entering into the realm, and taming sentient beings by teaching various dharmas, instantaneously bringing them to maturity. In the immeasurable palace in the Akanistha heaven, the body of Vairochana appears, and those yogis who are in union with it obtain the samadhis of hearing, thinking, and meditating, etc. Yoga in union means that there are two yogas, with appearance and without appearance, and one should examine it thus. The Dharma-nature Buddha is the non-dual

Arising from the body of Samadhi of Bodhi, the body of Vairochana Buddha, who abides in the Samadhi with appearance, is adorned by the light of the manifestation body like an illusion. Because it can manifest everything, it is called Vairochana Buddha. The nature of self-realization of the sages refers to the Dharmakaya of the nature of merging into non-duality, which is the nature of illuminating like a lamp. In any case, the nature of self-realization is the self-nature. Therefore, it is said in the scriptures that it can dispel the evil views of existence and non-existence. Just as it arises from the vast Prajna Paramita, it is not realized by the real appearance, nor does it become non-existent by the non-real, because the real and the non-real are equal. With its past aspirations, the work done to benefit sentient beings is immeasurable. The Buddha who appears like Dharmata arises from the non-dual Samadhi and abides in the omniscient Samadhi with appearance, which can show the difference between the realization of self-characteristics and common characteristics. It is related to "all dharmas." Among them, self-characteristics are hardness and wetness, etc. Common characteristics are impermanence, etc., and these are their differences. The appearance of one's own mind is like the nature of dreams, eye diseases, dizziness, vertigo, and fainting, etc., showing form, etc., which is related to the cause and nature of habitual tendencies, and shows that there is no external object. Then it is said that the appearance of one's own mind is the appearance itself, their cause is habitual tendencies, and the nature is related to the characteristics. What arises from the cause of clinging to the self-nature of complete imputation is the distinction between permanence and impermanence, etc., which arises from the cause, and the real objects of permanence and impermanence, etc., do not exist except for their image. In any case, it is said that there is no external object, and it is said that the limbs of illusion, the clinging to the appearance of many men who are not their own nature is invisible, just like illusion, etc.

It does not appear as an external object, and similarly, the appearance of all beings' own minds is merely the appearance of their own minds. Great Wisdom, furthermore, in "Parikalpita," etc., the nature of arising is permanence, self, minute particles, having parts, substances, etc. Other-nature is the manifestation of the nature of blue and other appearances. Therein, clinging to things that are permanent, self, happy, and pure, gives rise to discrimination. As the All-Knowing One said here: By the nature of permanence, all things are not born, relying on other-nature, the discrimination of humans arises. Here, an analogy is given: relying on grass, wood, and rubble, illusion arises. Explaining its cause and form: starting from not possessing mantras, etc., for those seeds of delusion, how they ripen, either sequentially or simultaneously, it is shown to them in that way. The magician, with bodies of limbs of form, like a group, proclaims various perfections to all sentient beings, showing that the body of the illusionist is not a single nature. In the bodies of sentient beings, whatever form is gathered, that form is not unique like houses, villages, forests, etc. Therefore, thus discrimination discriminates in various ways, truly grasping the deluded form, thus discriminating about it. Truly, in the forms of sentient beings, like the appearance of various forms, the true nature of things is not its nature, thus relying on other-nature, the appearance of discrimination, the nature of the beauty and ugliness of other-nature blue and other appearances is established, by the appearance of clinging, habits are pervasively conceived, actions arise, and will arise from habits. This is what is said by discrimination, etc., the Samadhi with appearance, the discrimination of body and speech is vast, where does the activity of the Dharmakaya arise?
