Like a precious jewel, it benefits all sentient beings. This is the meaning expounded by the Buddhas in the Sutra Pitaka. Abiding in samadhi with and without appearances, through common causes and the distinctions of the Dharma-nature Buddhas, the all-knowing ones become fully enlightened. In order to purify the continuum of equanimity, they teach the Dharma to yogis. The emanation Buddhas, the Bhagavat, the all-knowing ones, supremely pure and free from attachment, as masters of yoga in various forms, through various miracles, in order to delight limitless sentient beings, engage in debates of two and non-two, answering questions, and through means such as valid cognition and objects of valid cognition, as well as explaining the distinctions of the aggregates, elements, sense bases, dependent origination, and the aspects of enlightenment, following various appearances, they teach the Dharma focusing solely on the selflessness of persons. Through various Bodhisattva practices, and skillful means of wisdom, that is, when one examines with wisdom and the knowable is not found, then the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, abiding in the Dharmakaya, are without thought, without appearance, the ultimate truth of non-duality, this is called the Dharma-nature Buddha. Other noble Bodhisattvas who are in accordance with wisdom also abide in samadhi that does not discriminate between existence and non-existence, and will attain the equality of samsara and nirvana. As it says in the Madhyamaka: What is the limit of nirvana? What is also the limit of samsara? Between these two, even the slightest thing does not exist. Therefore, to distinguish the limits by means of dualistic perception is not possible for the Dharma-nature, which is non-dual in capacity. Therefore, abandoning attachment to existence and non-existence is nirvana, which is the purity of the mind-continuum. Just as impurities in gold, such as dust and clay, are gradually removed and purified, so too the mind, due to impermanence and suffering,

By meditating on ugliness, unloveliness, and emptiness, one should turn the mind away from objects. Those who perform virtuous deeds, through the order of places, objects, times, and the distinctions of conditions, just as a mango ripens, so too does the mind gradually ripen. Just as the darkness of a single object, which is robbed at various times in a place, is also instantly dispelled by the light of the sun and moon. Just as the lotus and the water lily are nourished by light, so too does the all-knowing one know whether beings have the potential in their minds or not, just as the sun makes the lotuses in a lotus pond bloom gradually or instantly. If Brahma and Ishvara, etc., things that are of a self-nature that is cut off, were indeed permanent, then because they are without cause, it would not be reasonable for them to exist, just like the son of a barren woman, a rabbit's horn, and a lotus in the sky, etc., because they have not been born. Therefore, the perishing things that have a cause are themselves the kind that are established as being completely afflicted and purified. The alaya-consciousness, which flows continuously, becomes special through the performance of virtuous and non-virtuous deeds, so the illusion of impermanent things is completely exhausted, and only complete purity is appropriate for them. Therefore, through the power of the self and others' continuums and the distinction of conditions, just like dizziness and fainting, etc., analyze with wisdom the various forms in which they exist. When distinguishing between gross and subtle, when there is nothing to be seen, at that time, the perishing things flow continuously, being free from thought and without appearance, the ultimate truth of non-duality abides by itself. When awakened by the habit of compassion, the all-knowing yogis who are supremely pure and free from desire, their forms appear in various ways. In this way, when dividing them into the two, with appearance and without appearance, and the samadhi of non-duality, one becomes the master of the Joyful Ground, becoming a Buddha who produces a great collection of qualities for oneself and others.
