Knowing the emptiness of the aspects of both the grasper and the grasped, and not giving rise to conceptualization, is the perfection of patience. With what diligence does one strive in the first and last parts of the night, and seeing it in accordance with yoga, therefore, conceptualization is reversed. This is the perfection of diligence. It is said that with the diligence that investigates with wisdom, one examines the gross and the subtle, and in that which is without an object of focus, conceptualization will not arise, this is the perfection of diligence. In order to reverse conceptualization, not falling into the clinging to the nirvana of the tirthikas, is the perfection of meditation. It is said that because of fully knowing the selflessness of phenomena and persons, in order to reverse the meaning of permanence, self, and external objects, one will not fall into the manifest clinging of the tirthikas, this is the non-dual meditation, that is, the perfection of meditation. Among them, the perfection of wisdom is when one's own mind is without conceptualization, until wisdom is fully revealed, not falling into the two extremes, abiding in an excellent state, manifesting fearlessness, in order to enable each of the noble ones to attain self-realized wisdom, diligently practicing, this is the perfection of wisdom. It is said that the object of one's own mind's conceptualization has ceased to exist, when one examines with the wisdom that fully reveals intelligence, the meaning of external objects is fully revealed, examining the gross and the subtle, not falling into the characteristics of the aggregates and so on, in that which is without an object of focus, in the manner of having no object of focus, the consciousness of the grasper and the grasped has been transformed, without thought and without appearance, one will abide in the ultimate truth. Thus, the perfection of wisdom is non-conceptual and without characteristics. The perfections of wisdom, skillful means, aspiration, power, and knowledge, etc., are fully revealed starting from the perfection of wisdom. The lords of the ten bhumis, with the distinction of the ten bhumis that benefit oneself and others, distinguish between samadhi with appearance and without appearance.
