it will arise. The mind is a continuum of moments, and there is no break in the time of cause and effect, so it experiences happiness and suffering, etc. Because it arises as a continuum of moments, the assertion of a permanent self is completely abandoned. Just as the sound of a cymbal and the moment of lightning, etc., and the moments of eye consciousness, etc., are not its cessation. Therefore, it is free from all the slanders of the heretics and hearers who speak of permanence and annihilation, and is the pure essence of the Tathagata of sentient beings. In non-duality, if one examines the general and the specific, there is a difference between one and many. Eye consciousness, etc., do not experience happiness and suffering, because those moments connect themselves elsewhere, so they are not the cause of liberation. Therefore, in that way, the mind itself is the cause of existence and liberation. The five kinds of karma created by it will mature directly and indirectly. The feeling of not being devoured by demons is uninterrupted. Doing good and evil with strong intention in a special field is feeling in the present life. Feeling is uncertain, and feeling after birth, and feeling in other categories, is different from that. All of these abide in the habitual patterns of the mind stream. Liberation is also manifested by wisdom, and the distinction of qualities and the exhaustion of afflictions also exist in the mind itself. "What is generated and produced by name, sign, and pervasive desire is focused on its cause" refers to attachment to the signs of beauty and ugliness in women and men, and whatever appears as an object by pervasive desire is focused on those objects. One should contemplate those created by the complete maturation of previous habits. The so-called "grasped senses" refers to those that are completely exhausted and ceased, and immediately no longer arise, which refers to those who have cut off the desire of the three realms, blocking the appearance of mind and objects as distinctions, and entering into cessation samadhi. Others are Not experiencing the happiness and suffering of one's own mental discriminations, it is the samadhi of cessation of perception and feeling.

Those yogis who have entered into the four dhyanas of equipoise, and who are not skilled in bliss and liberation, will turn to the thought of liberation, which is related to the fact that others will also turn to the thought of liberation. By discriminating with one's own wisdom, the cessation of the consciousness that experiences pleasure and pain will itself turn to the thought of liberation. Regarding being unskilled in the fourth dhyana, the truth, and liberation, these are the distinctions of the tirthikas. How do they distinguish? As long as the marrow is exhausted, the mind should be rejected. This is the wisdom of dhyana. The rest is extensive treatises. The four dhyanas, the four noble truths, and the doors of liberation, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. The eight of these, how they are like the Abhidharma, how they are like decorated trees, etc., should be widely understood. Proclaiming the Tathagatagarbha, if the Alaya-vijnana is not completely transformed, then the seven entering consciousnesses will not cease. Why is that? Because it enters with that as the cause and with that as the object. That is to say, the seven consciousnesses arise from the cause of the Alaya-vijnana, and also enter with it as the object. For example: The body and enjoyment appear as places, the Alaya-vijnana universally arises, and the eight and nine consciousnesses are also like that, like ocean waves. This has been explained many times. The Tathagatagarbha is also the essence of naturally luminous, and in the time of samsara, it will appear as sudden two aspects. There, the Shravakas and tirthikas will be attached to permanence, self, and the reality of external objects. Therefore, the All-Knowing One will accomplish it in this way. Because the yoga of the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and tirthikas is not the object of the consciousnesses of all yogis. The Tathagatagarbha is not the object of the consciousness of the yogis who practice the yoga of the tirthikas who speak of permanence, oneness, multiplicity, and self. If it is permanent in the conditioned and unconditioned, then the continuous stream of moments is permanent, therefore it is nominally permanent. For example, intention
