It is not permissible for action and agent to arise in connection, because when one instant exists, two instants do not exist, because after the former there is this, so it is said that there is this, which is merely considered as a dharma. In the dependent arising of the two aspects of consciousness, there is universal discrimination of cause and effect, and the same is true in dreams and illusions, etc. Some say that through direct perception and inference, momentary destruction is inevitable there as well. For example, the sound of a cymbal, the initial and final time states are separate; hair and grass, etc., are cut and then grow again; pillars and pottery, etc., also, due to extreme old age, etc., the initial and final times are different; flowers, etc., are inferred to be completely destroyed because they are destroyed in an instant, a moment, a short time. In dependence, old age and greater old age, etc., through the direct perception and inference of the omniscient, momentary destruction is inevitable. Without thought and without appearance, the continuum of moments that are non-dual in ultimate truth, correctly realizing the inexpressible, is also directly perceived in the perfectly established. Therefore, dharmas such as arising, abiding, and ceasing in that way, which are considered to be permanent, are impossible in dependence and the perfectly established. As it is said here: By the nature of permanence, all things do not arise, relying on dependence, people generate discrimination. When dependent discrimination is completely abandoned and purified, it is called the perfectly established. I have said this in the sutras. Permanence, self, and external substances, etc., because they are considered to be without substance, dependent arising does not arise in various different ways. Because there is no nature of arising in these ways, it is not reasonable to consider one as many, nor is it permissible to consider many as one. As the teacher Dharmakirti argues: By what is the object to be examined, the true form does not exist. Because whether it is one or many, these forms do not exist. Otherwise, on one object, various forms would appear, how are the forms

Thus it will become true. Therefore, even if one is reduced, there will be a reduction for other things as well. Because one can see the undifferentiated form, since one does not see the different natures, wisdom also cannot understand the differences. So, how does wisdom manifest various phenomena in that one? This arises from the power of things, which is what those wise ones have said. Thinking about the meaning as it is, it will become true as it is. If one believes in the meaning of any thing, then what will one understand there? This is to say that in that way, one should not become many under the sole control of other things. Because there is no harm to complete accomplishment, there is no thought and no appearance, with the non-dual ultimate truth, correctly recognizing that only the Buddha is the thing and the non-thing, not distinguishing emptiness, and without signs and without wishes, in the samadhi of the gate of liberation without appearance, naturally accomplished and abiding in the ultimate truth, and in the non-existence of the pure world with appearance, the all-knowing one abides, and for those who abide in different beliefs, he teaches in the manner of bestowing the Dharma of two and non-two. Skandhas, dhatus, ayatanas, dependent origination, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the ten powers, and the Dharma with two forms such as fearlessness, for sentient beings born from ignorance that disturbs the mind and cannot abide equally, in the manner of appearing in the cycle of samsara and the order of liberation, and with the differences of the accumulation of merit and wisdom of different grounds and paramitas, for the yogis, in order to please sentient beings by manifesting magical displays and bodies adorned with marks and signs, etc., and in various ways skillful in wisdom and means, how to stop the suffering of the cycle of permanence and attachment to self, and arising from the cause of karma and death, in that way he teaches the Dharma. For those who are free from desire, he teaches to practice impermanence and suffering and ugliness, and for some who believe in the profound Dharma, he analyzes the gross and subtle with wisdom and breaks them down. When analyzing form into atoms, the atoms'
