The meaning of examination is to manifest the beginning and the end. The term "momentary" and others do not refer to the moment of the word itself. Therefore, the worldly heretics who say that everything is momentary, and those who are not omniscient, many Tathagatas and non-Tathagatas are mistaken. Like images, because the nature of things does not exist, there is no thing that perishes in an instant. How do they appear separately, like the sound of cymbals, the time and place of the past and the future are different, they are separated. Diversity, such as houses, villages, forests, etc., cannot be one, because it is harmed by the two aspects. If it does not harm one thing, how can there be no established nature? In that place, truly knowing the emptiness of the two aspects is direct perception. If there is a non-dual, it is permanent, as some of the heretics make this distinction, it is also unreasonable. In the time of samsara, it is constantly divided by many sufferings, how can it be permanent? In the time of purity, it is also liberated from suffering and is in another place. Thus, like wood and ash, when separated in order, how can it be unique? Some people distinguish the nature of both momentary and non-momentary. Like cold and fire, etc., there are two things on one nature, which is unreasonable. Others say that because things do not exist, they are neither momentary nor non-momentary, which is also unreasonable. Things have no momentariness, because their nature is constant, that is, because there are no things in both, the nature is unique. Like dreams, illusions, etc., conditioned and unconditioned, permanent and impermanent, momentary and non-momentary, non-non-momentary, and non-momentary and non-non-momentary, such aspects, like dreams and non-dreams, have no nature to experience different things. Therefore, blinded by ignorance, all knowledge in the time of samsara is not true. Whoever knows

Seeing emptiness with the aspect of duality through investigation, that is the inconceivable and non-appearing ultimate truth, truly realizing non-duality. Then, what determines the momentary and the non-momentary? It is determined by direct experience. Why doesn't the Omniscient One acknowledge that everything is momentary? Because it is not considered that way. Due to different considerations, the consciousness of the eye, etc., does not connect with the characteristic of momentariness in another existence. The mind, however, continuously connects to another existence through the continuum of momentariness. The sound of cymbals does not connect to another moment. Therefore, the Omniscient One considers everything to be momentary, and in terms of that consideration, it is impermanent. In terms of the way of definitely explaining consideration, it is like conditioned and unconditioned phenomena. The nature of phenomena, which is inherently existent, is not created by any sense organs, etc. It is not unconditioned, but becomes conditioned within the continuum of momentariness. Thus, the Omniscient One considers everything to be permanent and impermanent, etc., and in terms of that consideration, it is permanent. Falsely imputing to external objects, the names of all imputed meanings apply to the knowledge of dualistic appearances, but not to the non-dualistic, momentary, non-conceptual wisdom. There, the name of the meaning of the sound of the Omniscient One, which is the general aspect, also applies. Similarly, it is stated: 'O Brahmin, from beginningless time, due to the habitual tendencies of conceptual proliferation, the cause of bad karma, I show the three existences. O Brahmin, I do not understand that it is merely the appearance of mind, therefore conceptualization arises. It is not from focusing on external objects.' This means that there is no focus on external objects apart from the aspect of knowledge. Why? Because of the power of the self and other's continuums, the knowledge that has arisen universally from beginningless time is the emptiness and imbalance of the inner mind. Due to the power of the ripening of ignorance, various kinds of liberation appear, like dizziness and fainting. That is the designation of sentient beings on their own appearance. Permanent, one, self, mine, both, neither, conditioned and unconditioned.
