All non-things, as well as permanence, oneness, self and karma, agent and actor manifestly related to birth and destruction, etc., because of not observing phenomena that are different from characteristics, therefore the wisdom of the noble ones is the ultimate truth of non-thought and non-appearance, in non-duality, truly knowing, naturally luminous. As the venerable chief, the noble Maitreya, arises from contemplation: If that affliction is not that, all sentient beings will be liberated. If that purity is not that, effort will become fruitless. Affliction and purity, with defilement and without defilement are also that. Water realm, gold and space, are pure as purity. Thus it is said. When one does not observe with wisdom, at that time, seeing emptiness, one does not grasp at signs, and the mind does not desire. The three doors of liberation, the noble ones who practice without appearance from above, their non-dual wisdom, therefore, from the explanation of distinguishing the middle and the extremes, it is pure like the realm of water, gold, and space. How do the decaying natures of the noble ones become liberated from all appearances? Thus, the All-Knowing One, having doubts arising from that place, gave instructions: Things are without appearance, and there is nothing that is non-existent for the yogi. With equality of existence and non-existence, the fruit of the noble ones is born. Thus it is said. There, non-appearance is the ultimate truth of all things, separated from the aspects of grasping and being grasped. How does that become conceptualization? Thus, the All-Knowing One shows. That should be realized by truly knowing, such an aspect is the object of the yogi. How is it? There, there is a realized one, like experiencing with the consciousness of the sense that definitely enters. Depending on the intention, the conceptualization of the minds of all sentient beings arises. The consciousness of the sense that definitely enters abides momentarily. Truly knowing without thought and without appearance is long-lasting. The ability to stop the breath abides only as truly knowing. The fruit of such aspects of the noble ones is born from the equality of things and non-things.

Thus, how the Mother Prajnaparamita arises, it is not directly realized by things, nor is it by non-things. How is it? Because things and non-things are equal. Things and non-things, for the sake of abandoning discrimination, such is the explanation, one should know the intention of the All-Knowing One. Moreover, how it is said in this sutra: "Nature and action, in things I do not pass away into sorrow. When discrimination and consciousness are reversed, I then pass away into sorrow." The companion of existence leads to non-existence, and existence is also led by the companion of non-existence. Therefore, one should not know it as non-existence, nor should one contemplate it as existence. Things and non-things are equal and without discrimination, which is the samadhi of the Middle Way. How is it that if by non-things, things do not have equality? Having such doubts in mind, the All-Knowing One declared: "How do non-things, how do things, make equality? When will the mind not know the movements of the outer and inner?" That is to say, when the mind does not know the grasping and the grasped objects, then in the non-duality of the self-luminous nature, those who have understood, the objects of the two aspects will become equality. The movements of the outer and inner, etc., are also truly known in an instant, and with the nature of grasping, one does not discriminate the grasped objects of the external realm. Such an aspect, in the non-duality of the ultimate truth, one should know the nature of truly knowing, and in the matter of the knower, the mind also does not flow, what to say of letters and sounds? Therefore, truly knowing, the objects of the two do not perish. Similarly, the Venerable Lord, the Holy Maitreya, said: "By the non-existence of two objects, the nature of the emptiness of things." How it is as it appears in the *Sandhinirmocana Sutra*: "With the aspect of two, the ultimate truth is without self-nature." What is said here is the emptiness of understanding the self-luminous nature. The *Lankavatara Sutra*, the tenth small chapter on the examination of direct perception and inference in the third chapter explained by the teacher Yeshe Pal Zangpo. The wise Mahamati asked: "Blessed One."
