Upon detailed examination, there is nothing. In order to attain liberation such as emptiness, to understand as it is, one knows the suchness of things by oneself. Furthermore, the great wisdom Bodhisattva Mahasattva should not vow that all dharmas are unborn, etc. This is because the all-knowing one, in order to completely dispel the fear of sentient beings who are attached to things and non-things, makes them peaceful by showing the object of noble wisdom, the non-dual object is the nature of emptiness. As stated in the Lankavatara Sutra, and the manner of the Samdhinirmocana Sutra, as well as the meaning spoken by the venerable lord, the noble Maitreya, it should be explained in this way, and the venerable lord's Bodhisattvas should combine it in a way that is universally inferred. The doctrine of teaching connected with reason is that whatever appears as one of the two should be shown as arising, momentary, selfless, and impure, like dreams, illusions, mirage-like appearances, images, and so on. Likewise, whatever exists is momentary, like the sound of cymbals and flowing water, and so on. What appears as two realms is also existent, created, and arisen. Therefore, the All-Knowing One thinks that one should not vow beforehand that all dharmas are unborn. By collecting the qualities of the subject through a universally related manner of what is to be proven and the proving dharma, proof by cause will be established. Therefore, why should one first make a vow? It can be understood from the very teaching of what is most excellent, that is, when a debate begins as to whether this is permanent or impermanent, whatever is spoken or done is impermanent, like a pot, and sound is also created. Because it is so connected with the dharma of its own nature, children will understand that impermanence is no different from this. Similarly, in the case of the invisible reason, because it is invisible from obtaining the characteristic of the visible, therefore this thing does not exist here, just as there are no horns on a rabbit's head, a pot is not visible here, and if it existed, it would not appear to be devoid of the nature of the direction.

Therefore, searching elsewhere is impossible to find. The cause of the fruit is also where there is smoke, there is fire, just like in the kitchen. Here also there is smoke, because the fruit is dependent on the nature of the cause, so the relationship will not change. Therefore, making a commitment is also to recognize that there is fire here. Because it is related to the three causes, the proof is established, so a commitment should not be made. If someone commits to saying that all dharmas are unborn, what fault would there be? Therefore, the all-knowing one also doubted this and bestowed teachings. Commitment is also included in all things. Because its cause is the characteristic of entering, that is, from the commitment the characteristic of the cause will enter. If there is no it, the cause will also not exist, this is what others think. The unborn of the commitment is to say that the commitment should be made first, then the one being argued will fail. Why? Because the commitment is also unborn. Because of the fear that other proofs will prove it, it returns from the non-party, proves with the party, because the way of being universally related without being inseparable from the proof has been well established, so it should be applied like that. Through commitment, many faults will also be obtained, and in the way of proving and establishing what is universal, there will be many merits. Both forms arise like dreams, etc., so in order to show one's own things, one will not be afraid. Due to the power of other things, various forms are unborn like dreams, etc., although they are universally present in a measuring way, the meaning is the same, but because it shows that there is no thing, it will be afraid. As it is said in this sutra: In the constant nature, all things are unborn. Relying on other powers, people generate various distinctions. Completely abandoning through distinctions, when the other is pure, accomplishment is suchness, I have declared in the sutra. How to understand what is said in the *Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra*: Sons of good family, there are three kinds of no self-nature: no characteristic self-nature, no birth self-nature, and ultimate self-nature. Among them, no characteristic self-nature is
