Knowing, holding the net of connection. This sentence means that what Maitreya, the chief of the noble ones, said in the way of distinguishing the middle and the extremes should be understood here. The unreal conceptualization is: mind and mental events are of the three realms; unreal conceptualization exists; therefore, these two are non-existent; emptiness is there; it is also there. This means that what arises from mind and mental events is the aspect of duality. So, emptiness is non-existent, and therefore, the nature that is separate from the aspect of duality exists. How can it be said that all sentient beings do not know, and that the nature that is separate from the aspect of duality is not equally established in it, and that there is an unreal conceptualization disturbed by the beginningless ignorance habit? It is the meaning of the distinction between the aspect of grasping and the aspect of being grasped. So, how will it be abandoned? That is, if one truly knows, one holds the net of connection. This is what the all-knowing one said. What is the meaning of truth? It is like what Maitreya said: By abiding in the object, non-object arises. That's it. The all-knowing one also shows here: After eliminating external objects, only entering into consciousness, this is the essence of the Middle Way, which I and others have declared. Thus. What Maitreya said is the doctrine of the Holy Lankavatara Sutra and the Samdhinirmocana Sutra. Those who know as real objects and hold on to sounds, like silkworms making cocoons, children who are not good at connecting are bound by their own distinctions. This means that ignorance, which does not equally abide in one's own mind, distinguishes the inverted aspects of permanence, happiness, self, and purity as real objects, and therefore children will be bound to existence. Those who fully understand impermanence, suffering, impurity, and emptiness will be liberated. Also, Mahamati asked: What the Blessed One said, with what distinctions and on what things are distinctions made, those are merely conceptualized, and those have no self-nature. Blessed One, if those are merely conceptualized and do not recognize the characteristics of the self-nature of things, Blessed One

Thus it was declared: All dharmas are transformed into the nature of complete imputation, therefore, the objects of complete defilement and complete purification will also cease to exist. This is the conceptualization of the ultimate meaning in the form of imputation in words and meanings. After Mahamati inquired, the Blessed One, fearing his misunderstanding, replied: The Blessed One said: Mahamati, it is indeed so, as you have said. Mahamati, it is not like the way ordinary people discriminate the nature of things. That is merely complete imputation. Mahamati, they do not recognize the characteristics of the nature of things, and the ultimate meaning is not as ordinary people discriminate. Mahamati, how do the noble ones understand the nature of things? It is said that its nature is inherently luminous, free from all conceptualizations of ultimate meaning, and is the nature of true awareness. Without thought and without appearance, the true essence of ultimate truth is non-dual, and the nature of true awareness is directly experienced by the wisdom of the noble ones in this way. The all-knowing one abides in the samadhi of the pure world.

The ninth chapter, the connection from the womb. Mahamati Bodhisattva asked: World Honored One, if it is not the miraculous power and fleshly eyes of the noble ones, but the wisdom of the noble ones, the vision of the noble ones, and the realization of the nature of things by the eye of wisdom of the noble ones, this is very vast. Then, how can the discriminating thoughts of ordinary people be transformed? What is the need for this? If we examine the meaning of what the noble Mahamati Bodhisattva said, both the consciousness of the noble ones and the consciousness of ordinary people enter their respective realms, so how can the consciousness of ordinary people be transformed? This is the question raised. The so-called "not comprehending the nature of the noble ones" means not comprehending what should be known by the wisdom of the noble ones. The eye of miraculous power is possessed by gods and others, while the fleshly eye is possessed by other beings, and these cannot comprehend. World Honored One, these are neither inverted nor not inverted, This is because one can realize one's own realm. Why? Because it is to comprehend the nature of the things of the noble ones. One's own discrimination is the measure of them. Other discriminations are not measures, because there is no direct perception. The so-called "to see the transformation from the nature of existence and non-existence" means that things and non-things, searching for other words and meanings, are generally established for the meaning of discrimination, and the transformation is between each other. As it is said in the Bartika: How many parts are established, In order to eliminate it, one does not eat, So many words are also like this, Therefore those are different realms. From beginningless habits, Discrimination arises and abides, The Dharma of the three forms of words and meanings, The place of both existence and non-existence. World Honored One, how do the noble ones discriminate things, because it is not the realm of their own nature, so it will not change like that. World Honored One, the nature of those things, because the cause is not shown, only the nature of complete imputation appears, for the discriminator, it is for the general appearance of the meaning of the word.
